One of the more authentic Mexican tasting restaurants in Knoxville. The drinks and tacos are solid. The only place that I'll order tacos de lengua from because they make them just right with a dash of spicy salsa.

My water never got refilled even though I drank it all pretty early on. I was tempted to drink other people’s water but that would have been a little awkward so I just waited till I got home.My husband and I split the Cataleyna Cantina fajitas. The meat was good, especially the meat on top. There isn’t much cheese (just a tiny amount of cheese sprinkled on the beans) so you have to ask for it if you want cheese on your fajitas.The restaurant is a little narrow but has a nice ambiance to it.Overall I would say the food may be a five but they don’t really come back to see you so the service was a little subpar.

Food was excellent. Ordered "to go" and didn't take too long. Large portions, very fresh. Should have shared one item. Nachos with shredded chicken were amazing.

Me encanta este lugar. I come here quite a bit and I have to say its my favorite restaurant town. Its beautiful down to the dishes and everyone that works there is friendly and works together to make your experience great. Ive always hated refried beans until I had theirs. They are different and I cant tell what is different but they are amazing. Ive tried many many dishes here and have enjoyed them all. Even the potato is spectacular. Food presentation is always beautiful with a fresh edible flower. I highly recommend the barbacoa street tacos and the cantichangas. Cataleya es el mejor del mundoooo!
