To many Chandler's may be a little less than 4 star. Actually a lot less. However I've learned that the snobbery of fine dining can be as phony as Bill Clinton's marital vows. If you grew up with country cooking you'll love Chandler's. Chandler's is a family owned business and have some of the best mamma's and mammaws there is bringing soul food to your table. Personally I'm a fan of the mixed greens. Give me a bucket full and a fork. Trust me folks, if you're looking for ambience go somewhere else. If you're looking for honest to goodness great soul food, visit Chandler's.

I miss this place so much. It’s one of my favorite restaurants in Knoxville. I am missing this gem so much right now, because of the fire. I love their chicken thighs, chicken and dressing, fried catfish, fried okra, country fried steak, green beans, mixed greens, collard greens, and desserts. Their macaroni and cheese is my favorite in town. It is the exact same kind I had when I was in daycare. I hope that they will be open again soon.

This place is so good, it's ridiculous. I believe they're closed due to a fire. I wonder if we can still buy their seasonings?!? Their cabbage is just so damn good!

Chandler's Deli is currently closed, due to a fire that occurred in late June 2020. There is a sign that indicates they are currently renovating, but no expected date of reopening is posted. Call before you drive over there.I hope they can reopen, as their food is delicious!!

When I tell y’all that was the most seasoned, thicccccckest chicken breast I have ever had! I’m annoyed I was only visiting Knoxville because I won’t have a chance to visit this lovely place again in the near future.
This is THE BEST BBQ SANDWICH IVE EVER EATEN!!! I'm not typically a BBQ girl, but i felt like I needed to try it here. It was so flavorful and so delicious! The sides were also very tasty!

I was stupid excited to try this, but it's boarded up with a "Closed for Renovations" sign. Is there an estimated time for reopening, or is it going to reopen? The food looks amazing!!

It happened before the Fouth of July weekend when they were closed. Fire Dept said it appeared to be from a warming tray. The food in this place is top knotch. Home made, all of it. The staff will keep you coming bak for more. Thoughts and prayers to all of them.
