Top-notch! I was surprised this place still had an incredible happy hour during the pandemic - a lot of places around town have done away with their happy hours since the pandemic. Cru's beer is always fresh and crisp. They have a rotating selection of great (seems like mostly localish) brews -- each time I go in they have a little something different on the beer menu which I love because it gives me a chance to try something new. Their staff always seems to know the drink menu well and is able to pair the perfect drink with the meal. I LOVE Cru's personal pizzas. These pizzas are works of art: always beautiful, hot, and delicious!

Had eaten almost 1/4 of the cheese plate before I took a Picture! Well worth the $7 ! Had it and the strawberry salad for dinner! Because I could put it in my cooler!Had the shrimp and grits for lunch some of the best I have ever had and I’m from Georgia! Had lots on our coastal water! Thanks for making my whole day wonderful!

Made reservations a few days prior on Open Table for my birthday, requested patio seating.Attentive and friendly staff. Half priced bottles of wine was a nice bonus.Would definitely recommend the cheese plate and the Cru Filet with asparagus and roasted potatoes. The steak was cooked to perfection and very flavorful.

I had the excellent shrimp & grits; hubby had the pasta. Both meals were prepared well and flavorful. Our waitress also did a good job. We would return if we lived in Knoxville.

Absolutely the most disrespected I've felt by a dining establishment in Knoxville. We watched our waitress talk bad about our table to the other bar tender, only because we had asked her to split the check, something most establishments would do without a second thought. If you saw how pretentious the workers were, and how incredible they thought their restaurant was, you'd think they'd be fine with splitting a check! Nope, they instead visibly talk crap. Also, when we reached out to talk to a manager we were spoken to like we were teenagers, and he did not take any of our complaints into consideration. If you are this worker, quit your job.

My boyfriend and I went here a week ago and brought back 10 friends today; a week later. We were completely disrespected. Of course, as college students we might have gotten a little loud; however, we were spending a lot of money tonight with appetisers, drinks, and food. With such a big group with COVID, we were separated at tables. My boyfriend asked if he could pay for his brother at a different table. When the request was rudely denied, my boyfriend was very nice and understood the reasoning. As I was walking to the bathroom directly after, I heard our waitress rudely talking about the situation and how it was ridiculous that he even asked that. I immediately felt disrespected. We addressed the manager about the issue and he of course apologized and asked for us to come back next week. At our table, we had mentioned going to Pour Taproom. As we are walking out, our waitress was upset that we brought up her behavior to the manager and was on the phone with Pour Taproom telling them to not let us in. They also completely reimbursed an older couple for us being too loud when we were completely disrespected by the staff. I am the type of person that always lets things go; however, i could not deal with being so disrespected for being a college student when we were being very respectable and spent a lot of money. This really upset me because my boyfriend and I came the week before and we LOVED our waitress and told her we were definitely coming back the next week. We then brought 10 of our friends to introduce them to the restaurant and this was how we were treated. We collectively felt disrespected for our waitress talking about us when we could hear here and could see her. We obviously understood the loudness that we may have caused but it shouldn't have been dealt with absolute disrespect. My friend also tipped her $20 and left a note and said please don't talk s*** about your customers.

This place was great, but i feel like I paid for the sauce. The special needed more vegetables than slivers, and the portions were French sized. The menu is still interesting to say the least.

Great meal, killer good service, nice cocktails, good selection of local and regional craft beer. Hard to beat. Not cheap, but worth it.

Great service, great food, great wine. No complaints what so ever. They do require a mask at the time of posting.

They charged extra for ranch and then didn't put it in the bag. If you charge for it you really shouldn't forget it. They've given me the wrong pizza too before.
