The first time we went to this location, they made our sandwiches wrong, so the manager or supervisor gave us 2 free sandwiches, so we came back today and the made 2 free sandwiches wrong again.But is not the manager false is the one who took the order both time. My husband went to ask for mayo and told the manager who gave the 2 free sandwiches the sandwiches should have mayo, and he really not tried to fix the order.He looks like I don't care. We try 2 times, and we are never coming back.

Love their sandwiches! They always do a great job!My only complaint is that sometimes they round up your total without asking. Not that it's a huge deal, but it bugs me. It's like they assume you can afford to round up because you can afford to eat there. Technically, I really can't afford to eat there, but I do because the food is worth it.That extra $0.58 or $0.87 is a big deal to a single working mom who is desperately trying to afford a house in this crazy market.For now, I'm letting it go because it's less than $1 mostly. But it means I can't afford to go as often, so it's sad.

This location is very well managed. Chad does a great job! He is very personable and remembers most customers names. He cleans tables, makes sandwiches, has a great staff, and makes us feel important as a customer. The food has always been prepared as ordered and very good at this Hardin Valley location.

The last time I went they gave me the entirely wrong sub. I had ordered a steak and cheese and they gave me a club of some kind. I thought it might have just been a fluke so I went again. But today they gave me my sub on completely burned bread. apparently this location has no quality control and doesn't care about the customer getting the food. I won't be back to this location.

Their sandwiches come with the best pickles. Be sure to buy one of their pickle buckets. They're strong with good storage. And they make a great little seat! Politely took my order. There was no business at the time. They were fast. But burnt black bacon on a sandwich Ruins the Sandwich bacon is a very strong flavor and burnt bacon Is even stronger.Parking: Location shared parking. During busy times no parking available.

We are regular customers at Firehouse and frequent the location by West Town Mall. Nothing but amazing things to say about that one. However, we visited the Firehouse in Hardin Valley tonight and after witnessing some disgusting sanitation practices by the two employees working, we ended up walking out without getting our food. We are very quiet non confrontational people but felt this was worthy of a review since somebody could get sick. There were two people working- a guy and a girl. The first guy was using a broom and dustpan with his gloves on- a dustpan that was on the ground- then put them down and used the same gloves to start making our sandwich. We didn’t want to say anything since there were lots of people in there, but at that point we were already not going to eat the food. But it didn’t stop there. The girl employee then grabbed the sub after it was steamed and proceeded to put it inside the dirty trash can and shake it in there to drain out some excess moisture. Needless to say, we were very grossed out. I understand people have bad days or they are tired after a long shift, but that should never come at the expense of food cleanliness. We won’t be returning to this location and I’m only writing this review in hopes that management can see it and teach their staff the importance of food sanitation.
The register asks for tips. Only afterwards do you find out employees don't get the tips. Poor ethics. If they correct this, I will change my rating.
