Recently discovered this gem downtown. We have visited a hand full of times within the past couple of weeks and only one time were we disappointed with our food which our bread was almost burnt to much to eat. We will continue to frequent as long as the food and service stay the way our other visits were! Our favorites are The Besty and The Royale!

Really neat place to eat breakfast or lunch. Focus on fresh, sustainable and local as possible. Bread made on premise. Was very happy. About 12-15$ per person.

Saw good reviews so we tried, but we were disappointed. Bacon wasn’t crisp as we pleasantly requested. Toast, requested dry, each slice had a Pat of butter and my husband’s egg was cold.when he told our sever, she just asked if she could get him some thing else, but since it had already taken quite long, he declined. No credit of any amount was offered. Don’t think we’d give them a second chance.,

The wait for to go orders is always very long(even when they aren't busy) and the system they have between their employees seems inefficient.

I wanted to love this place so much. I am gluten free and dairy free and was excited that they had options for me. Unfortunately, my latte had real milk in it even though I ordered it with oat milk and I am now pretty sick. My gluten free "toast" was barely toasted and tasted freezer burnt. Their bacon is chunks of chewy hard pork and I have had better omelettes at IHOP. The final straw for leaving this negative review was that they somehow mixed up our credit card with another table's, fixed it, and never mentioned it to my husband who had seen them deliver his card to the other table. Sure enough, we had 3 transactions on our account. How do you not inform the customer of the mix-up? I will not be eating here again.

I visited this coffeehouse with high hopes, drawn in by its potential. However, the experience fell flat due to the disappointing customer service. Despite the charming ambiance and delicious coffee, the lack of attention and friendliness from the staff was a huge turn-off. While I might give it another chance in the future, it's disheartening that such a promising place is hindered by its customer service shortcomings.Stay tuned for an updated review!

This place is the worst. Do NOT go there. Slowest service ever. Stupidly expensive. Took 40 min for a to-go chicken salad sandwich, got back to work only to find there was almost no chicken salad on the bread. Lousy chain + terrible management. Better off going through the McDonalds drive-thru.

This place is so underrated! It’s a hidden gem of downtown Knoxville. It’s huge inside, they always have seating, the bartenders are nice, the bar has power outlets (brownie points!), perfect covered patio for the weather, and the food is very reasonably priced, delicious, and FAST to come out of the kitchen! The Bloody Mary was also fantastic! Great space for families, doing homework, having a drink, catching up with friends, etc.Parking: State Street Garage or pay for street parking!

I ordered the charcuterie board and it was tasty. There were so many menu items I wanted to try so I'll have to make another visit. Friendly service and I loved the vibe.

I might have gone on an off day, but my chai latte just tasted like milk with a *hint* of cinnamon. We waited about 30 minutes for our to-go drinks (4). They were probably short-staffed but our experience was pretty sub par on a Saturday morning.

How are you a coffee place and you don't have wi-fi? Makes no sense. Came here to finish up some work and they informed me that they don't have wi-fi, I've never been to a coffee spot that doesn't have wi-fi. Chocolate Crossaint was good though.
