Went here on Feb. 26! Food was fine... it's "the best grilled cheese in Knoxville," but it was just a grilled cheese with a side of off brand chips. Drink machine wasn't working. Employees seemed unengaged. Horrible ambiance. We tried it because it was closing, but honestly it was staying open, I wouldn't go back unless the inside was updated and cleaned. Reply to owner: I did a review because Yelp recommended me to. Also, Kroger brand "Corn Chips" are off brand. Fritos would be on brand. Why waste your time replying if you're closed? lol! We can see why you're closed now.

Between the food and the staff, this place is awesome! The staff were super accommodating with our order today when I need to do a pickup order for some teachers at my child’s school and the food was so raved about by everyone. The kickin chicken is amazing!

Used to be a great place. Hours say 11-4 but when I came to get soup at 345 owner was pulling away and just looked at me. I’ve also gotten home with cold soup right out of the refrigerator. Very disappointing.

These folks offer sandwiches that you have never seen anyplace else and that is a good thing. Look at the menu and drop by. Save room for Ice Cream. They make their own!

You never know when they're open anymore. The soup is hit and miss and they don't let you sample it any more. I've haven't been in a while since I discovered the soup kitchen right up the road. Sample anything you like and it is great.

Love eating here , one of the must stops of your near west town mall , soups and sandwiches, ice cream , pasta salads . All that the heart can imagine in comfort food right here . Not many places with food this great around town but this one is top tier .

Maybe the workers had a rough lunch hour. They were not friendly campers. I tried to lighten the mood but it didn't work. Then I asked for a sample of the ice cream as we were trying to decide on the flavor we wanted to purchase. The sample barely covered the VERY tip of the spoon and I couldn't even taste the flavor. We made our order and were ready to get out of the uncomfortable environment. Then we made it to the car to eat the ice cream. It for sure didn't make up for the experience inside the store! It was icy and tasted maybe freezer burnt? The only way I can describe it. We threw it away. Ate here a total of 3 times and Won't go back.
If you can’t decide between dessert or a meal, try the donut grilled cheese! Kid doesn’t like cheese, wife doesn’t like donuts, but smash them together on a griddle and it turns into something that they both love!

Fair. The ice cream was moderately okayish, I guess. Ice cream had some frozen crystals and gritty sugar. It's definitely like a rookie homemade recipe. Expected more for the hype I had heard. Seems to be a family run business. Maybe they're tired of running it now - as evidenced by stressed communication between the people working in there. They're not allowing in-restaurant consumption. All the chairs were up on the tables, and the signs said no sit-down service. Probably would be a good time for an ownership change. The prices are ~20% higher than listed on the chalkboard on the wall. So that surprised us, too, when they rang it up... Then haven't bothered to re-do the chalk writing in the board...

What a fun place! Grilled cheese with so many options. I had the Slim Shady supreme. What an incredible sandwich. You have to try that one!

We enjoyed our visit. The homemade ice cream was definitely my favorite! The food was good and I've never been able to make a Spaghetti sandwich that held together as well as they did. Apparently the dining room closes at 3. They started putting chairs up at 2. Even though they said not to rush, it definitely felt like we needed to.

Located on Peters Road, just off the corner from Walgren's at Kingston Pike, It's All So Yummy Cafe is a sandwich, soup, pizza, fried bologna, grilled cheese food and Ice Cream Shoppe. They have an excellent staff and the service is quick. They serve a lot of ice cream after school and this is a great place to pick up lunch, or meet friends for coffee and a snack. TODAY IS NATIONAL CHOCOLATE ICE CREAM DAY and I heartily recommend the 'Death By Godiva' chocolate ice cream. It is chocolate decadence at the height of a creamy cold treat. You can get a bowl, a cone, a waffle cone, or they also offer hand packed. So pick up a quart today to share with the family. Pricing, at It's All So Yummy Cafe, is very reasonable, with sandwiches from $6.00-$12.00, which includes chips and a drink. Follow me on Yelp for more local favorites and the very best of Knoxville.
