This is a gem. Best fried food in Knoxville. Makes me miss my great grandmother's sunday dinner. Just go. Not a fan of the "hot" chicken take they had, but hey not for me. EVERYTHING else was perfect.

Fantastic soul food! We had the "hot as hell" chicken, fried catfish, chicken tenders (for the youngest member of our group), fried green tomatoes, plus banana pudding cake and chocolate cake. Both cakes were delicious and nice and moist. The hot chicken was nice and hot. The catfish had a nice, crunchy cornmeal coating. Prices are very fair.As I told my wife, you know it's a good meal when you have to change your shirt after you're done!
Best fried chicken I’ve had at a restaurant!!! Everything I’ve had from their menu has been fantastic!! I love that Jackie touches tables every time I’ve seen her there, it adds a nice touch to the atmosphere. Highly recommend checking them out!

I ordered a 2 wing kids meal with fries and a sweet tea. I didn't know the drink didn't come with it so it was extra which I could have said never mind no drink but I didn't mind because I love the sweet tea. When I got.home you could literally smell the chicken it was bad. I called just to tell them to check the chicken so it wouldn't get sold to anyone else and the owner told me that nothing was wrong with the chicken and I was just mad because I had to pay for my drink. I had already said I wasn't going to eat there again because of the quality of the food. But,I gave it another try and that's what I got,I didn't even want a refund or anything. Bad customer service,smart,and rude as hell.

They beat Austin steak house in my opinion.Parking: There's about 20 parking spots.Kid-friendliness: They love children here and they have good food choices for children as well.Wheelchair accessibility: They have wheelchair entry and removable chairs from the table for someone in a wheelchair to access the table.

Wonderful place for some amazing fried chicken. The staff is friendly and prompt. Green beans, sweet potato, candied yams are all worth getting. Next time I go I am getting the eight piece!
