Ordered soup to-go, and instead of them notifying that they ran out of to-go containers for soup (hence giving an opportunity to order something else), they gave it to us like this (see photos) and we didn't know it until we got home. The cardboard top absorbed the liquid and broth seeped everywhere. That alone wasn't a big deal so I called and the rep said they were out of bowls. I explained it spilled everywhere and he responded like I had said we had "an accident" as if we spilled it ourselves- zero accountability. I tried explaining NO it's because the container wasn't suitable for soup and he kept interrupting me so I asked him to let me finish speaking (he would not). Because of that, I asked for a refund- BUT as soon as I finally called him out, the rep put the phone down without explaining any further and proceeded to make me wait for 15 mins while I could hear him helping other patrons before eventually hanging up on me - then he refused to answer a couple more calls. When he finally picked up again and I asked him why he did that, he acted like he did nothing wrong because he was "really busy" and had the audacity to ask "why are you mad? I'm just here working..." Patronizing regular patrons. I'm more upset with the blatant disregard than the soup spilling everywhere. This is how loyal and regular customers are treated. Boycotting immediately. Be warned.

Awesome food great service. Local place to gather and have fun and eat Mexican meals go now. Possibly the best Mexican food in Knoxville. They own several other places.

The food was amazing! Trust me, not all chimichangas are crated equal. Their shredded chicken chimi is the best I have ever had in Knoxville! So juicy! The portion sizes are huge which means you will either have plenty of leftovers or you will have to undo your belt a notch or two at the table. Shh...don't tell anybody. Can't wait to go back!!!

Food is always good. The guy up front, Memo, he is extremely kind. We have been going here for about 8 years now.

Called in a take-out order for my wife and me. Said it would be ready in 20 minutes. It was waiting when I got there. Cute little place. Bring a jacket cause it is cold. The food is plentiful and spectacular. We are definitely going to have to finish this meal tomorrow.

We've been here a couple of times. The first time we quite liked it. We had the cheese Enchiladas. Everything was quite tasty. However, we went again last night. Ordered chicken & steak fajitas plate and "Don Juan" (some kind of beef, wrapped in corn tortillas and a cheese sauce on top). Both plates came with refried beans and rice. In both cases, the beans arrived lukewarm, if that. But worse, the beef on each plate was inedible in that it was ALL grizzle. Un-chewable! Funny thing is it looked like beef but had the consistency of rubber meets tough leather. The cheese sauce and the salsa were good but the chips were chewy stale, not crisp or crunchy. If our first experience wasn't so good, I'd have to give it a 1/2 Star. My recommendation is: If you go here to eat, stick with cheese dishes--they are hard to screw up. The quality of meat is more fit for dogs. In fact, we pulled the beef out, wrapped it in foil and brought it home as treats for our dogs! Final recommendation, if you want water with your meal, bring your own. Their (tap) water is wretched!!

Ordered the steak Burrito California about an hour ago for pickup, got it home, the beef was mostly gristle, very little meat, kinda disappointed, rethinking my fondness of this place

This restaurant has served us well for the last four to five years. But during this past year they have noticeably declined in service and quality of food. They are not attentive to their customers and don't come back often to check if anything is needed such as more chips or salsa or refills. The worst thing was the very stingy amounts of the sides. When it says it comes with beans and rice, I would expect a normal serving and not just a trace amount. Finding another go to Mexican restaurant because of these issues.

I love Memo and Bianca, they are two of the reasons I visit their restaurant. The food is wonderful and always made with the highest quality ingredients. If you try it once you will never go anywhere else. Big E

Their food is one of the best in Knoxville. Customer service could be just a little better.

This is the best Mexican restaurant I have ever eaten at, and I have eaten at a lot. It may look like a hole in the wall but has the best food and service. We ear here at least twice a month

On Thursday April 16,2020 at 2:51pm we placed a to go order. We was charged an extra 35 cent for each to go item and lunch before 3pm was not added. We also didn't get any eating utensils for our take out or and they forgot to add icecream for one of our desserts to go.
