The food was very good. It had a nice amount of spice/seasoning, which made it much more enjoyable than some other Mexican eateries. It was fresh and delicious ? the service was prompt and cordial.

I love this place the steak fajitas are amazing. I would say give the place a chance I've never had any complaints.

The food was very delicious, everything tasted fresh and went perfectly for what I ordered. Service was amazing, the waitress was friendly and kind. The atmosphere felt very comfortable and safe there. I would 100% go again with family and friends. It’s too bad that it’s not as popular as it should be.

I've eaten at about a dozen Mexican restaurants in the Knoxville area and this was probably one of the most disappointing dining experiences of them all. The atmosphere is just fine. Tables and chairs comfortable. The menu looks to be very extensive (see pictures) and the service was great. However, that was probably because there were probably less than 20 guests in the entire restaurant when we arrived (6:30 PM on a Friday night) and when we left there were only about 3 couples. This may be because they could only serve beer. One of the couples at our table asked for a margarita (it is on the menu) and the server mumbled something about a license. The highlight of the food was the chips, salsa and queso. I give the chips an 8 out of 10 and about the same for the salsa and queso. The meals however were a bit of a disappointment. I ordered the fajitas and, as you can see from the picture, they came out pretty hot (not sizzling) but the meat and the set up items had very little flavor. The tortillas were hot which was good but the fajitas were disappointing. My wife got the nachos and they were also very flavorless and wet which made the chips more soggy than usual. Not sure what was going on. Overall, not a great experience and although the servers and the owner were very nice and helpful the food alone would prevent me from going back.

Do not be fooled by the outside! It looks like a quick in and out place but upon entry it is home! This Mexican eatery is all about family. They great you with love and a smile. The food is fantastic! Well seasoned and large portions! You should stop by! ❤️

Went today, haven’t been in years. Lived in Powell my entire life and always had a good experience. But today changed that. First off had a happy hour sign on the door, had no mixed drinks or margaritas available only beer. Didn’t bring the order out right the first time as portrayed on the menu. The waitress gave me an attitude and when she brought the menu to me to show me I was wrong, she realized she was the one who wrote it down wrong and told the cook wrong. And I never changed my order. The attitude I received was unbelievable and uncalled for. I work in a customer service job, so I understand. I’ve never sent food back before today. And I will never be back. So disappointing because I loved this place.

Love this place! Their refried beans are tasty, their chili rellenos are delicious, salsa is sooo YUMMY, and all their sauces are fantastic. Really haven't had one thing yet that wasn't good. The waitress we've had a couple of times now has been very friendly and helpful.

This place has gone down hill so bad since it has changed hands. NONE of the food is the same, Salsa, beans or even the chicken. Whoever had it before needs to take it back, used to always have a wait on Friday and Saturday night, now you never do, guess there's a reason for that.

Had never tried this place. The chips and salsa were good. I ordered the Arroz Con Pollo. I was happy with the looks of the plate, but somewhat disappointed in the lack of spice or seasonings. Husband ordered combination dinner #8, anenchilada and a tamale. He did like the enchilada sauce but felt the tamale was bland. Our waitress was very sweet and attentive.

I bought a taco salad on 01/11/23 it was the worse taco salad I've ever ate the shell was soggy and stale like it had been made for Days not light crispy and flaky I ask for the hot melted cheese not shredded I also ordered a beef and cheese burrito which I paid over $5 dollars for and it was the size of my thumb I paid $15 for nasty food I would not recommend this place as a Mexican restaurant.they don't even take the time to dice there tomato they rip you off on that to and give you a half slice of tomato.for the money you spend here you can eat at the Grand buffet or El Rey's I won't be back here ever my first and last time it's not worth it just plain nasty I just tried calling backon 1/12/23 ask to speak with manager explained my experience and my food and told them I even had my food and reciet I spoke with a guy that couldn't understand me he put a lady on phone that said they wasn't a manager to call back tomorrow I really would love to just throw my salad in their faces but then I would not be professional. I Urge Everyone NOT TO EAT HERE it's a disgrace on Mexican food just plain nasty food and the most disrespectful employees I've ever had seen or met I don't even want to give them a star it's that bad
