Mikata is wonderful! Definitely some of the best sushi I've ever had. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. I had raw salmon in both a sushi roll and Nigiri, it was perfect. You can tell they use good fish. This was my first time trying Takoyaki, so I don't have anything to compare it to but, it was amazing. ?

The Nigiri was okay. Fish was not that fresh but i ordered takeout before closing so I guess that’s why. The American sushi roll was good but too small for the price.

I've eaten here several times and it's always been fantastic. This is my wife's favorite place to get their pork dumplings and spicy tuna roll.We ordered the 2 egg rolls, pork dumplings, Philly roll, Spicy Tuna Roll, The Tuna Mikata Roll and the Beef and Chicken Hibachi with the house salad covered in ginger dressing.I can say this with confidence that their egg rolls and pork dumplings are probably the best I've ever had and we consistently order these items at every Japanese restaurant we visit so that says a lot.The sushi rolls were also very good, but the spicy tuna roll stood out to me personally as being extremely good. I don't normally order spicy tuna rolls as that is my wife's favorite, but she also insists that I try it every time we go out. After trying it I told her that I could order that for myself because it was that good. The actual tuna by itself was incredible, I wanna say that it had been marinated in something. The hibachi was good, but a little overly sweet in my opinion. It seemed like everything from the actual hibachi dish and even the shrimp sauce just had a little too much sugar. However, this did not slow me down and after adding their homemade hot sauce to the plate it was awesome. Also their hot sauce was on point, excellent flavor and actually spicy could definitely tell it made by the restaurant. Not pictured is the salad as I ate it so fast and then realized that I didn't snap a photo of it, but it was great no complaints at all.The service was top notch it felt like everyone in the restaurant from hostess, wait staff, and even cooks were all being attentive to customers.Like I said I've eaten here many times and will continue to keep coming for years to come.

I did not care for the food. My husband was military and we know how good Japanese food tastes and this is not it. The spring rolls were mush inside the food was not hot. The teriyaki chicken had no flavor. The server was great I will never come back.

Always busy for such a small space. Good food, reasonable prices. It's just a little cramped. Depending on where you sit, it feels like you're sharing a table with whoever is next to

Ordered the teriyaki chicken with fried rice and veggies. Underneath are noodles..and alot of them..so not as many veggies as I would have liked. That's my fault for not choosing the no noodles option,..just know there are alot. The chicken itself was rubbery and greasy..not very flavorful amd the fried rice looks like white rice with a little coloring from the greasy chicken. There ate no veggies in the rice which is clumped together.

Used to love this place. 3 consecutive bad experiences have led me to make this review. This last time was by far the worst. We ordered 2 rolls of sushi 20 minutes before our meal and waited over an hour and a half until we decided to cancel our order. Our waiter did all he could to check and make sure it was still being prepped but the it was never made! The food is fine and but do NOT order sushi here- Meat portions have also significantly decreased over the last year :/

The food is pretty good, but not great. Much better options, I would do PF Chang's over this place.

Excellent customer service! I was asked to get Mikita for a work lunch. Carol was amazing! The food was so delicious. We got veggie spring rolls, edamame and chicken and shrimp. There was a ton of fried rice! They supplied enough sauces which can be n issue when getting catering/to go food. The restaurant location is small but clean. There were several people already there even though they had just opened. They seem to have a very loyal customer base.

Well, let's start with the fried rice. Um, this has been a staple for centuries and they mess it up. It has the texture and look of cous cous. Nothing is in it no peas no egg I'm not sure what this is. Teriyaki chicken has the texture of tofu. The 1 meal was good it was the fried pork cutlet. Other than that nope, not again.
