I went for a family members birthday and their spicy chicken sandwich is so good but its very spicy so if you like spice this is definitely for you. Their chicken and waffles are also a must get they are such a classic i would definitely recommend.

Wow! Food is great here. Highly recommend. Prices very reasonable. Enjoyed eating outdoors.

Food had good flavor, but everything came out cold. Cold fries, cold mac and cheese, cold and under cooked broccolini. The chicken salad sandwich was good and the chicken tenders were good (although slightly cool again) overall decent but could be so much better. Can't speak to the drinks, as we wanted to order some but after we put in our initial order we didn't see our waiter again until the food came out

Really nice chicken strips. Yummm. Waitress was awesome and patient, hostess was learning.

I really wanted to love this place so I’m sad to leave only 2 stars. The wings were pretty much flavorless and the cole slaw, which should have been creamy, was quite dry. The service was fast and friendly.

This restaurant was recommended by a city tour guide, and it did not disappoint. The tomato pie was heavenly. Full of flavor and the crispy bits along the edge was the best! I ordered the chicken strips, sweet potato fries, with house bbq and franks+maple sauce. The franks+maple wasn't really my jam; it was good, heavy on the maple flavor, and would have been great on chicken and waffles for me, a person who chooses savory over sweet. That said, the beautifully colored house bbq sauce was probably the best bbq I've ever had. Ever. A sweet potato fry dipped into it was perfection. The chicken: this is no plain tender. This was a fried chicken tender. Such amazing flavor that I only used sauce with about 1/3 of one piece, and only because the sauce was so good, too. Husband got chicken salad sandwich with fries. The fries were no longer warm when he got them, but he said "yeah it was fine. But not the best thing I've ever had." Over all, recommend this place, and would enjoy going back!

Wowowow. The Myrtle’s Tomato Pie is the best I’ve ever had, and first place I’ve found in Knoxville to have it. Amazing drinks and food. Quick service.Parking: Park at Market Square garage for the cheapest, easiest parking right next to the square

Myrtle's is located right in the middle of market square. After hitting a few of the local breweries we wanted some quick bites. Myrtle's was a nice spot that had patio seating, and very friendly staff. The Nashville hot chicken wings were delicious (and hot) our server made sure that we had plenty of water to wash down the heat! Not bad for a quick bite and a beer if you are visiting downtown Nashville in the afternoon, highly recommend!

We're here on a visit and the beautiful day brought us to the square. All the great reviews had us stop here. I'm not sure if we're just not used to the food in the area or what but the food didn't have much flavor besides pepper on the chicken. The ribs had zero spice or flavor if you didn't add bbq sauce to them. As for the service is was really lacking. The order was taken and the food was brought but we didn't get checked on at all. I really wanted to like this place. One last thing. The music was so loud you had to yell to have a conversation with your table. I'm super disappointed. Not sure I would come back here.

Pretty nice menu and staff. Walkability to nearby hotel and it's in Mkt Square. Really good location. I'd go back.

Food was pretty disappointing. Long list of sauces that were decent but none were amazing. The bbq sauce was raspberry colored and not great.

We had a fantastic lunch here with our 3 teenage sons and 7 of their friends. Good atmosphere, great service, and the food was delicious. The waffle dipped chicken appetizer was everyone's favorite: amazing.

Nestled in Market Square, Myrtle's can be quite the bumping spot any night of the week. Nevertheless, the service is always good & the food is delicious. Like other businesses in Market Square, the layout is an issue for accessibility--especially for those in a wheelchair. The hosts are always very helpful, though, and have patrons at the bar and neighboring tables adjust to make a path for me. That said, I wish things were a bit less crowded so that wasn't a necessity (or perhaps a new layout with more accessible seating at the front of the restaurant could help). Nevertheless, great food & service--even on busy nights.

Order fried chicken meal with dark meat with tomato pie. Not sure if my expectations are too high for this specialized chicken place or I ordered something not popular ( maybe should have go with waiter's suggestions with chicken tenders) the meat is just OK. I have better ones from where I live. Tomato pie is fine; very cheesy.
