I go to this place after therapy every other Wednesday & it never disappoints. I typically will get an iced lavender matcha, but last time I got their fairy ring (matcha, strawberry, oat milk, & thyme) & felt transported to a new dimension. Highly recommend enjoying your drink with a walk around Old Grey. Also all the baristas are cool & hot, especially Kori. One of the best coffee shops in Knoxville!!!

We were searching for Paysan and Remedy is right next door. What an awesome combo! There is plenty of free street parking and inside, this is a very different vibe than any other Knox coffee shop I've been to. Remedy definitely has a laid-back, bohemian atmosphere. The menu is equally as laid back. There is pour-over coffee (they sell all of the accessories to make your own at home, too). They also have all of the basic coffee drinks, along with matcha, and nitro. I ordered an oat milk iced mocha and it was pretty good. Not the best I've had in town, but combined with the cozy atmosphere, I could see meeting someone here and/or working for a bit. They have counter seating that is utilized by laptop-tastic workers and grabbing a breakfast sandwich at Paysan and bringing it over seems to be okay, if not the norm, for many patrons.

Love this place! They have a great thing going with Paysan being right outside their door. The chai latte is my go to and I love the atmosphere of this place. Staff could be a little more friendly, but other than that, 10/10.
Phenomenal beans, sourced from fantastic roasters, brewed by people who care. Hungry and it's before 3pm? Hit up Paysan Breads & Bagels, immediately nextdoor, and get you a bagel sandwich and bagels to go!
The drink quality here is great. The specialty lattes and teas are creative and full of flavor. The shop had a cool atmosphere with a good execution of the coffee and skull theme that seems to be popular amongst some newer coffee shops. However, the staff was a mixed bag. Some were very friendly while others were somewhat rude. The music was playing so loud that working remotely from here would have been impossible. It is a good place to try out for a cup of coffee but I don’t know if it would be a place I visit again.

The coffee is some of the best in town, but both the attitudes of staff and the music choices tend to be spotty. Some staff are kind, fun to talk to, and interested in their work. Others are offended you stepped through the door. The music gives "no one understands me" vibes, but no one is in high school anymore. Overall, wonderful coffee, sometimes a good experience, and not generally a place to go to to work. Good for catching up with people, though.

I’d give 3.5 stars instead of 3 if I could. I like Remedy and find myself there almost every time I’m in town and have been going there for years. The staff however is either indifferent towards customers or just quite rude and standoffish every single time. There used to be some pretty cool and nice baristas years ago but now not so much. They’re much more interested in their own conversations or getting you away from the register as soon as possible and with minimal interaction (usually no greeting or prompt, just wait for you to speak up).Pros: lots of seating and the place is well kept/clean. The seasonal drinks are always fun and creative and the employees seem to be good with flavors. The wifi is also reliable and there are goods to purchase such as merch, beans, and coffee accessories.Cons: the staff is consistently unfriendly and their hot drinks are usually lukewarm. It usually feels like your drink was made as a task and nothing more.All in all, I still do enjoy going when I can because it can be a great space to work and I’ve always had good interactions with other customers. The space is conducive to many styles, offering high top and low top tables, as well as sofa, armchair and bar seating. The location is good and also right next to a bagel shop.Drinks I would recommend: any seasonal matcha tonic, espresso shot, mocha

My cappuccino with steamed almond with a lot of cinnamon fantastic taste?!!What a lively place to enjoy a wonderful cup coffee????. Just stay around the corner so checking out local businesses to support. Was very pleased having this coffee place just a few blocks away?.Staff was confident & very talented to keep orders coming very quickly!! Even though the place was hoping busy today/ mid morning the all kept with beat of orders.I was very impressed with this place. I’ve been in the food industry for decades. I have traveled across the country and try always to found out the away coffee house & restaurants. You guy are very special team !I have had many poor quality Cappuccino coffee when I am traveling.Thank you such a fantastic coffee shop in the area!!Kid-friendliness: You have special place with fabulous atmosphere & enthusiastic Staff?!
