My husband and I used to own a bakery in Upstate NY. We recently moved here and have heard great things about Rita's. We stopped in to see why everyone was talking about it. The shop is adorable and the person that greeted us couldn't have been nicer. (Daughter-in-law) we didn't have a huge selection to choose from as were there at the end of the day. We tried a cream cheese brownie and it was delicious. I'm looking forward to going again earlier in the day, when we can taste more.

All the yummy baked goods you need to satisfy a sweet tooth! The folks at Rita's have been making delicious cookies, pastries, breads and cakes for a long LONG time, and it shows in the quality and consistency of their fine products. My last 3 birthday cakes came from these master bakers, and if you want death by chocolate, they will happily accommodate your wishes. Some personal faves: eclairs, whole wheat bread, peanut butter cookies, Italian Cream cake, (the most decadent, flaky, buttery) cinnamon rolls, and berry scones, oh! and snickerdoodles... and creme horns and JUST GIMME ONE OF EVERYTHING! It's really difficult to go wrong at Rita's.

Rita's Bakery has amazing cakes, cookies and pastries. Their thumbprint cookies are the best we have ever had. If you want to try a true family bakery, stop by. You will not be disappointed.

Bakery items are wonderful... Staff - not so much. I was there to pick up a cake I ordered. I waited for 2 other customers to complete their transactions. When it was my turn, the snobby clerk said no mask, no service. I needed the cake for my wife's birthday, or I would have told her where to put the cake.
