Cute little restaurant- ordered hotcakes and a burger. Sat down and realized it has mold spots around the restaurant. Burger was great tasting, hotcakes were just flour mix taste. For dessert got two pieces of pie and two ice creams. Pies were good, ice cream was freezer burnt taste . But overall it seems they are very nice people.

I've been going here since the early 80's. Absolutely LOVE this little gem and so happy that they are still going strong. Still looks the same but that's part of its charm...takes us back to the good 'ol days. The Vols Bacon Cheeseburger is a must try along with their fried catfish (excellent tartar sauce and hush puppies too) and breakfast items. Our favorite sides would be fried okra/tomatoes, coleslaw, tater tots, fries, & pinto beans. Meatloaf is pretty good.. just a little too sweet for me. I need to try more, but it's so hard to not order the BEST burger or Catfish in town. ?

This has to be the worst experience I've ever had with Round Up. I ordered their beef stew and corn bread, and it was totally unacceptable. The beef stew did not have even a single piece of beef in it. If I were a vegetarian, I might have enjoyed it: it was a vegetable stew at best. And the corn bread, really, did'nt have a hint of corn bread flavor to it. I don't know what was going on with them today, but I hope it was a once in a lifetime situation. By the way this was a take out order.
Always hits the spot. Never disappoints. Breakfast is king here. But their Lunch and dinner is really good too! High value meals. A huge menu. There is something for everyone at this place.

Cute little diner, very reasonable prices for the amount of food you get. You order at the counter and then they call out your order from the grill and it is served on paper plates/Styrofoam plates and an old school tray. Good flavor, my husband got the country ham breakfast (sorry no picture) and he said it was ok. Solid little diner in all!

I wanted some good southern home cooking for lunch and this was the perfect find. The biscuits and gravy were out of this world and I can't recommend them enough. The chicken dumplings were savory peppery and thick. Mac and cheese that's Tennessee Vols orange but so yummy (Velveeta maybe?) Fried okra that's crispy and not greasy along with fried green tomatoes. We got some chilli on the side that is stick to the ribs chili dog topping style and will warm you no matter how cold it is outside. Finally sweet tea so sweet you could put it on your pancakes. I hear the pancakes are really good too. Breakfast is served all day, and they have daily specials as well. Order at the counter and don't forget ice cream off to the side. Booths and tables to sit at with tons of memorable on the walls to catch the eye. Food came out quickly, hot and overall at a good price. They have pretty good hours too. Plenty of parking as well. Totally chuffed we found this spot and absolutely will come back.

SUCH a cute little spot for breakfast. The omelettes are amazing. The potato bites are also delicious. Definitely a “ma and pop” style of place — and such a gem to find. Very sweet people and great atmosphere for a country breakfast. I’ll definitely come back here.
