Schulz Brau, this needs to stop! Plus the very limited parking needs to dramatically improve. Besides semantics, Schulz has good beer, okay service and fun events.Also, they need a phone app for purchasing beer which can be picked up in a quick orderly fashion from a pickup station. I'm sure that would be a real time saving convenience. Of course the app would have already confirmed age & ID already.

Having first hand experience of German region culture, Schulz Bräu is as real as it gets right here in Knoxville. And don’t miss out on the special events! The environment is a setting that places you as if you are in a village in Germany. After all, I understand the Brewmasters are actually from Germany. The list of beers are plenty and of the best you’ll experience. And food menu and prep is as authentic as the brew. Brats, schnitzel, and more.If to out perform the product and setting, the staff has to be the best part. Clad in German attire, the staff accents the environment perfectly. Everyone attending to the taps, the kitchen, the tables, are all unique in their delivery of service. All showing happiness of being there that is the best part and gems of Schulz Bräu Brewery. Oh my gosh. This is THE best place to visit in Knoxville!!!! From the service, of course beers, liquor selection is very nice. Try the Sherry or Dry Rye Rabbit Hole bourbon. Man! We shared the brat with sour kraut and the delicious, almost sinful, schnitzel pizza. Good god that mushroom sauce is delicious. Yum yum. The patio is doggo friendly and the events are soooo fun! Be prepared to wait on large event days, but that's expected. Awesome ?. Vibe is fantastic with seriously great professionals in an amazingly gorgeous place. The brewery is clean and outstanding. I don't think I've been impressed like this since visiting Munich. Wow. #ritterfest

Love, love, love this place! The food, atmosphere, staff, beer...all the perfect combination!!! Not much we haven't tried on the menu and everything is crazy good. When in doubt just grab a giant pretzel with cheese while you decide. To be honest, handle tried the pizzas but they seem to be a hit, maybe I need to try one soon. Love when they have a special menu, like their Valentines day meal for 2. OMG, so much food but it was just incredible. The staff, regardless of who they are, are very welcoming and friendly. Have yet to find an atmosphere like they have here. You can sit at a little table to have your own space or enjoy a seat by the fire to immerse yourself into the social experience. Truly love, watching a Vols game or F1 race on the jumbo TV in the biergarten, while hanging by the fire. Truly makes me feel like I'm at home. The beer...so many incredible options to choose from. They have a great range of beers and non-beer options, including mimosas on Sunday during brunch. Currently we have been working on their Doppelbock Project, which has been amazing, especially their Luxardo Cherry and Vanilla, which seems to be everyone's favorite. Do hope they bring it back regularly once it's gone. Rain, snow, shine, there is never a bad experience here. Highly recommend, just remember to leave 2 seats by the fire for me!

This is one of my favorite places to enjoy a cold brew. Their prices are very fair. All beer prices are posted. Their food portions are bountiful and a great value. That in conjunction with their outdoor setting including fire pits and tents makes it a one of a kind experience.

I’m split on how to rate this place but I’m food centered so the food is 3-star. It’s German bar food, nothing more nothing less. The German potato salad seemed more American, the schnitzel is average, thin slice of pork. The bar is very nice. I thought the bartenders were very personable and made me feel welcome. The beer was very good. I had a sample of maple doppelbock and it was good. I had the cherry flavored one by recommendation of the bartender and was very satisfied. So experience going for beer and hanging out could very well be a five star. Going for food, 3-star. I wouldn’t recommend taking out but if you aren’t really going for anything other than something to eat while drinking it’s not a bad choice. I went for German food but was pleasantly surprised by the environment and quality of beer.
