Seasons has been one of Knoxville’s top restaurants since it was based near Dixie Lee Junction. Crave-able food, elegant atmosphere, family-owned, local, wonderful.

This was my first time at the restaurant. Even though we did wait a bit for anyone to come by and take any orders, the atmosphere was very laid back, the décor was cool and they had two great patios. You can sit outside, inside the patio or inside the restaurant. We choose a booth. The food was good. We ordered the brussels sprouts, burrata and mushroom soup. We then ordered the sea bass (delicious) and the veggie burger with a salad that had homemade ranch dressing. Because it was my husbands birthday, they treated us to a crème brulee made that morning! The food was good, fresh and had lots of flavor. Some nice crusty bread would have been the icing on the cake but they give you pita bread. Not my favorite choice. We went on a Wednesday night and got the 50% off the bottle. If you like a nice California red drinking wine, choose the Conundrum, made by Caymus. David, the manager came and stopped by our table. He was great, and explained the reason for the "Seasons" name. I thought the prices were good, for two appetizers, a soup and 2 entrees and a bottle of wine, the total bill was $129.00. We would go back and I would recommend this restaurant!

I feel like a jerk for this one, but I felt there was a bit too much hype for this. The bread they bring to the table was surprisingly tasteless, and the butter mixture served with didn't help; maybe if the butter hadn't been refridgerated? Our server came across a little cold over all as well, so maybe it was the theme (I KID!!).I started with the spicy marg situation, which is marked as made with Sauza; this feels like a cheap choice, even for a cocktail, given the going prices of everything else. For the meal, I had the filet. It was actually really good, but WILDLY overdressed. The sweated onion, spinach, mushroom nonsense was an insult to what was otherwise an immaculately seared, seasoned, and sauced filet. I recommend scraping the rest of the [redacted] off. The asparagus was cooked well too. Finally, the squash and zucchini was not good. They warn you about its marinade, and I should have taken it seriously; the tang to it destroyed the flavor of what I normally enjoy about the squash; it's just too much and overpowers everything. I just wanted to be wowed by the experience given the hype and pricepoint, but I was not.

I worked at this restaurant about three years ago and recently moved back into town, and it was the first place I went because I missed the food so much. This elk chop was absolutely outstanding!

I always try to eat at local restaurants especially if they are farm to table. I was so impressed that I’m going back for dinner another night before I travel back home.

When we received our check, there was a 3% convenience charge added for anyone that uses a debit or credit card which they don’t bother to ever mention but instead circle the fee amount on your bill when they bring it to you. We frequent a lot of restaurants in Knoxville and that is the first encounter we’ve had with a convenience fee. Food was great though.
