As soon as I walked in there was a very pungent feces sort of smell? The environment is a little messy and I got my order taken from an 11 year old little boy which was VERY strange. His older sister who was probably 17 was sitting at one of the tables on her phone, who ended up making my meal but never washed her hands. This place has to be in violation of multiple health codes. The food was alright but not my favorite. I got the fufu and egusi.

The food is really good and flavorful. (If you don't like spices this place is not for you) My favorite meal is the whole fried fish with jollof rice. Took away a star b/c they are not always open when their hours say they are.

This was my first experience with African food, and if "Authentic" African food tastes like THIS, my last experience. The meat on the Kabob was tough, cold and dry. The chicken was at the VERY LEAST a day or two old, as well as dry and unflavored and as you can see my rice had no carrots, peas OR flavor. I won't be returning.

The food was amazing, easy 5 stars here.The restroom was somewhat not clean and they were out of paper towels.They didn't have water cups, but I was offered bottled water for free.Overall, 5 stars for takeout, 3 stars for dine in. Extra star for exceptionally good food.

Decided to step out of my comfort zone and try this place. Absolutely delicious! Show stealer was the goat meat stew and fufu. Never would have imagined. Family owned I think. Very small place so dine in space is limited to say the least. Definitely eating there again though.

The shop itself is ok but please anytime you buy food items make sure you use your own calculator or check your receipt well, to avoid paying for what is not in your bag or over charge, i am kind of disappointed this has happened to me twice. So shine your eyes ?

Placed a large order online. Drove 25 minutes to pick up and was told the order was sent back because they don’t have anything I ordered… in a market that sells all the ingredients for what was ordered. I give them 5 stars for being sketchy though.

Do NOT order food here if you are hungry! I placed an order online at about 7pm. Their site indicated my food would be ready at 7:45pm. Because they accept cash only, I left to go by the bank to get some money from the automatic teller, then headed over to Western Avenue. I actually got there a little early at 7:35pm. I walked inside and announced I had placed an order online. I had ordered Jollof rice, brochette chicken, brochette beef, the tilapia filet, and fried plantain. The person at the counter said "we don't have it. We called you but you didn't answer." Of course I didn't answer, I was driving and it is illegal to talk on your phone while driving. I was stunned. I could see that maybe you didn't have the fish, or another item, but how can you advertise yourself as a restaurant and not have any of the 5 different things I ordered? And not only that, but in addition to being a carry out restaurant, they are also a store. I cannot believe that they would not have any of these items in the store.
I definitely will not go back and will be sure to tell friends, family and anyone else that will listen to avoid this place. It's a shame, because I was really looking forward to trying their food and could see myself being a regular customer.
