Sad news! Went last weekend to Maddio's at Town Center. Sad to say they have permanently closed.

Walked in and ordered two pizzas, there was one customer in front of me, waited 45min for them to make the pizzas and box it. Manager had his buddies hanging out and was outside talking half the time while the staff is obviously struggling. Never again

My very first time to Uncle Maddios Pizza Joint. The place was empty with one person in front of me. Unsure how the process worked I walked up to the kid taking orders and mentioned it was my first time there. With a juicy eyeroll he just asked what I wanted. Nothing helping with the menu or how they take their orders so I had to wing it. I picked a small pizza(unsure of sizes since he didn't help in any way) with Alfredo mozzarella, fresh mozzarella and pepperoni. I had to tell him the toppings 3 times because it seemed a bit difficult for him to process more than one thing at a time. I assume too many eye rolls had left him brain damaged. Bless. After finally getting it right he just thumbs me to "go over there". I walk down the line to the register, pay and get my drink. WOW it was expensive for a 6 inch pizza 2 toppings and a drink. 12 bucks. (Competitor Blaze is 7 bucks for build your own, larger pizza and 99% less attitude) Retrieved my drink (Pepsi products and tea) went to sit down. They said they would "find me" when my order was ready. I pull out my book and wait. 6 chapters, 2 refills and 20 minutes later my pizza arrives. A puddle on a plate. They must put some kind of olive oil on it or something because it was floating. Crust tasted good. Most of it was crust, in my opinion they could have taken the toppings out a little bit further to prevent a puddle in the middle. The pizza once drip drained had very good flavor, some kind of oregano on the crust gave it good flavor with good crunchy bubbles. Small was plenty for one person. I was starving when I got there but small was plenty. I have no idea what other sizes they have since Captain Eyeroll was not very forthcoming with information. All in all the pizza was good. If there is a next time, which there might be if im on that side of town again, I'll make sure to ask for no oil since it made it very mushy and hard to handle.Manager seemed to be running all over the place (pretty sure he was the manager since he was the only one over 17) he delivered my pizza to my table with the added "someone said you were hungry" kinda rude but yes I was starving after sitting there forever.

Today was the first time my mom and I went to Uncle Maddio's. We are together Uncle Maddio's special( salad and a 6" pizza and a drink). The lady who bring us up, could not have been nicer. The prices are decent and the atmosphere is comfortable. They have a variety of salads and pizzas. They even have wings. When we left she asked how everything was and we told her we will definitely be back. She said their calzones are very good too. And the food comes out quick.

When we ordered the pizza, we use to be able to see and choose the toppings that we wanted on our pizza. But now you order all of your topping as soon as you walk in. So what is the purpose of being able to see all of the toppings after you already ordered your pizza??Once the pizza came out, the pizza came out in boxes and not the typical metal pizza pan. We asked for plates and silverware and they said that they didn't have any plates but gave us plastic forks and knives. In reviewing the receipt, I noticed that they overcharged us. I went to the counter and told them about the mistake. He type in his computer and said that the overcharge amount would be refunded to my account. Checked my account several days later, no credit for the overcharge was made. The employees could care less if anyone was there or if you had everything that you needed to enjoy your meal. This was once a good pizza place but this is now probably the worst pizza place in Knoxville to eat at. Will not be returning until there is a change in ownership!

I have rarely had a more disappointing restaurant experience. I placed an order mid-afternoon for 6:00 p.m. pickup. At six on the dot, I received an email saying my order was ready. Great! Not so fast. I arrived to learn that they hadn't even fired my order and that they don't even have cauliflower crust at this location. I stood waiting for 45 minutes with a view of what can only be described as utter chaos. There were about six or so teenagers making pizzas and putting them in the oven. None wore hairnets. They all wore gloves but never changed them even after answering the phone or taking cash payments. There was only one young woman taking the pizzas from the oven. As a result, they were piling up. No effort was made on the front end to distinguish one pizza from the other, so this poor girl was left to guess. So I was not entirely surprised to see when I got home that none of my order was correct. None of it. I went back and was offered a refund. They also remade my gluten-free pizza since I couldn't chance anything they'd sent me before. The pizza was only fine. We will not ever come back here.

Unfortunately, the service was slow (lost someone's pizza), the store was filthy. 6 employees standing around doing as little as possible.

I’m going to start this with the employees currently here are swamped and they need help.I waited legitimately 20 minutes in line to order. It has now been 34 minutes and I have just ordered and am waiting to receive my food. Absolutely not acceptable for a lunch rush. They have 3 employees here and need help. Numerous dirty tables and sticky floors. Probably my first and last time here. I’ve heard amazing things about this place and I hate that this was my first experience. They need a manager on duty that can assist with picking up the pace.I tried ordering online to avoid any wait time and was prompted I could not order (even pick up) for less than $25.The employees currently here are trying but ownership needs to hire more employees to assist them. Sad to see someone who wants to work and actually cares get shafted due to ownership and or management not giving them the tools they need to succeed.

I used to love this place, but it's not the same anymore. We went there a month ago and they said they were out of sauce. Then, we came again today and they told us it would be an hour for a pizza when there were only three customers and no one in line! So sad :(

Food was good but took forever to come out. No managers to help kids running the place. Restaurant very dirty. Tables and floors not cleaned.

Best customer service I've had in a while, they got my pizza ready fast and it was very very good.

Sadly the service was not of expectation, we got 3 pizzas in total 2 gluten free supposed to be bacon chicken ranch and 1 gluten pizza. We got the 2 gluten free pizzas and instead of bacon chicken ranch it was bacon chicken pizza sauce. We were told AFTER the pizza was brought to us that they were out of ranch they then proceeded to give us ranch on the side and explain that they found the ranch. I wish they had just redone the pizzas.

I’ve been going to Uncle Maddio’s for a year now. Things had been going downhill then new management came in and it seemed a little better for a while. Tonight was the first time I’ve been in a couple of months. Ordered the family feast (XL pizza, cheesy bread sticks, salad, and cookies). My pizza was missing an ingredient, they were out of cookies (I asked for 2 cheesy sticks instead), and they didn’t have cucumbers for the salad. Apparently they were out of lids for the marinara sauce and salad dressings as well, but didn’t tell me. The red wine vinegar dressing cups leaked all over my back seat in the car.The restaurant was filthy. Not one employee greeted me...I had to go to the register to ask someone if I could order. If this trend continues I think it’s safe to say they won’t be around much longer. Frankly, I’m shocked they haven’t closed before now.

We normally love the food, but the Knoxville store has been having major issues. Online ordering doesn't always work, you can't call the store to talk to anyone, and lately the food orders have been incomplete. We just ordered 2 CYO calzones and they came with NO cheese whatsoever! Very disappointed!

no ice, most drinks out, couldn't get order right, then when I went to get a box for my pizza had to ask for my husband's pizza that was cut and sitting on a table. Think they need a MAJOR management change or just hire an adult.
