I been around to places & they have on their maneu whole wing but thing get some little hen wings or already split wings. these wings well seasoned juicy & tastes said if they were good I be back & I will all way from murfreesboro to get them wangs Thank yah for some good ol wings even my wife loved them & she not much chicken eater

I've only been once, but I'm definitely going back! The owners were very patient with me, as I decided what to try. My catfish nuggets were delicious! They were well seasoned, and I tried both the hot and mild sauces. Everything, including my fries, stayed hot almost the whole time I was eating. My small order was honestly enough for 2! Highly recommend!

The catfish had no flavor. The whiting fish was horrible, it was undercooked and looked as if it had been battered in flour. Pickles and onions for the fish were extra instead of coming on the side like typical restaurants. The fries were horrible as well. The wings were good and portion size for all of the food was decent.

I happen to know the owners! This is an amazing place that puts out amazing food! Portion size of food is ridiculous! Filet fish sandwiches that are so big they overflow on a piece of bread! My final statement is if you eat here you must get the fried okra!

This is a hidden gem!! I'm so glad I came across this place. The food is AMAZING!! I got the catfish sandwich for lunch and it was perfect! Well seasoned, super hot and fresh, the portion was huge for only $5.99 and that came with a whole bunch of fries. I received the best service from the lady at the front and she added some mild sauce for me to try and it was so good! I liked it so much the next day I went back and got it again. I can't wait to try their whole menu!

It is so hard to find good fish in the Nashville metro area, but not anymore! I highly recommend Gowdys, their fish is exactly what I have been looking for in Mid TN!

On the hunt for seafood and saw Gowdy's in my Yelp! search, so we said, "Let's give them a shot!" Service was safe, and I mean, a wall of plastic wrap separating customers from the cash register, receipts slipped underneath the plastic and our order passed quickly under the plastic which was then pulled down to minimize any air exchange between the kitchen and the lobby. My fried Perch and 3 Jumbo Shrimp Combo was hot, even after a 10-minute drive. The breading was spiced well, though not spicy. Hot sauce was offered and accepted and enhanced the taste of everything. The shrimp were good, not previously breaded and frozen but prepared at Gowdy's. The Fish Sandwich was hot, fresh, and greasily good. The whiting fillet was good-sized and came on a Hawaiian bread bun that we chose (wheat and white bread were the other available choices). The only hiccup was forgetting to include our drink in the bag. We were told that everything was in the bag. Other than that, we felt that it was a fair amount of tasty food for what we paid.

1st & last time ordering from them (delivery via Grub Hub). Ordered 5pc catfish, Pick3 combo w/whiting, perch, jumbo shrimp, 2pc fried chicken legs, 1 lb gizzards, fries, & fried okra. Fish (-5 stars): The fish on each plate was inedible. It was clearly old & past its prime to the point where the flesh/meat was no longer flaky & white but was a putrid nauseating grayish color. Had to throw away all the fish; we refused to eat it. Stars Balance: -5 Shrimp (5 stars): This was only meat that was good, fresh, & edible. They were truly jumbo & cooked perfectly. They were soft inside & not overcooked. Stars Balance: 0 Chicken (-3 stars): The 2pc fried chicken legs were seasoned well on outside but were undercooked & pink/raw inside. Had to put them in the oven to finish cooking them. Scary to be served raw chicken. Stars Balance: -3 Gizzards (-5 stars): They were inedible bc they were overcooked, dry, old, hard, & extremely salty. So disgusting & disappointing. Stars Balance: -8 Fries (5 stars): Best thing about order. They were perfect fries; fresh, seemed hand cut, crispy outside, soft inside & seasoned perfectly. Not overly salty. Seems like they do the double cook method. Stars Balance: -3 Fried Okra (5 stars): Was freshly prepared, not dry, not salty, fried well. Stars Balance: 2 It's really scary to think that restaurants in these times would have the audacity to serve such bad quality & health risk food. Food poisoning & salmonella are REAL people! If you want customers to come back & patronize your establishments, TAKE THE TIME TO PREPARE & SERVE them fresh, fully cooked, not overcooked, edible food! If you can't do that in these times, CLOSE YOUR DOORS!

Seafood fulfillment so full I can keep my eyes open and type this review. Cat ?was just right and enough seasoning to enjoy , glad they kept up with my no salt request. Love the jumbo shrimp and dessert, cheated with half a bread slice. Next time I won’t order the rings didn’t know the fries came with it so I had extra to eat. I definitely will be back ! ✊?????

Ordered through Ubereats. Catfish reminded me of the way mi abuelo would cook it after we went fishing. Fried to perfection. Nice and crisp with flavorful breading. Fries were very good too. The gizzards were quite a treat. Hard to find a place that serves them, then hard to find one that doesn't over cook them. Great ratio of breading and lots of flavor. I've never had them with this type of breading but I'm a fan! Highly recommend! Thank you!

I wish more people knew about them. Good wings. Good catfish. I usually order the 3 whole wings meal comes with fries for like $4. I get the wings dipped in mild sauce and mild sauce on the fries. If you're from the Chicago area or ever lived there yes it's that type of mild sauce and tastes just as good and I would probably say better than Harolds because they actually season the chicken here.

I finally found a place that knows how to make a fish sandwich (white bread, fish, onions, mustard, pickles, tartar sauce and don't forget the hot sauce).
