Tabooli Gyro

Being fully vaccinated, my wife and I headed out for lunch at a local restaurant, Gyro Spot We've been here before and were already familiar with the menu. My order was their lamb kebob. When served, the perfectly grilled lamb wasn't served on a skewer. Rather, it was cascaded over the fluffy, moist yellow rice Both of us ordered baklavas for our desserts. Gyro Spot is very unassuming on the outside but don't let that fool you. It's an immaculately clean restaurant with very kind staff and incredible food. I wanted to sample a few things so I went with the combo platter and a starter of hummus. Their hummus is very creamy and flavorful - I definitely recommend ordering that. We are new to Antioch area and are so excited to eat are way through this town. Tonight we tried Gyro Spot and we thought it was pretty good. I got the gyro salad my husband got the gyro sandwich and onion rings. He is very picky about his onion rings and said these were the best he's ever had. Prices are great! The guys who work there are truly delightful- we loved them! It was pretty busy and about a 15 wait but totally worth it.
