I visited last night along with my brother "Doc", we arrived late but when we finally arrived we were greeted by customers there first off and our main reason for coming there was to check out there Karaoke. To make this short we had a great time once we got a feel of the place and the owner talked with us and really made us feel welcome. The deli was closed but that was ok. We were impressed by the entertainment, the DJ was great, George Lundy who was running the karaoke. Loved the sound of his system. Other customers also made us feel like this is a good place to enjoy ourselves. Looking forward to our returning. Keep the entertainment coming and we will too.P.S. would have given a 5 star but I'm holding out for the deli...

Michael & I live here as permanent residents in Lafollette, TN (transplant from 2020). We visited the Deerside Market & Deli about one week before St. Patrick's Day, 2024, after working in Deerfield area. We were fortunate enought to met Anna & Terry who are extremely personable people and owners of Deerside Market & Deli. We ordered a pizza and Anna made it by scratch. This was, by far the best pizza locally, far better than Charley's Pizza in town, that everybody raves about. We told Anna that we loved her homemade pizza she prepared for us and had a chat with the locals while dining. Anna informed us that they were in the process of changing their menu and adding some new features. They have a custom made bar inside that is quite unique and interesting, corn hole games set up outdoors, and music/entertainment: karaoke and live music with solos/duets periodically. The following week, we attended their St. Patrick's day party, after searching for a venue that was honoring the holdiay close to home. When we arrived, the place was so packed that we couldn't find a place to park, but Anna said she would find us a place to park! I love the home town feel at this place and the location is great! Terry even invited us for a 4-wheeling event coming up in April. Thanks for your hospitality, Anna & Terry! (Suggestion: Please turn on T.V.'s in outdoor eating area when there is no live entertainment! )

Had a party of 8 no one else was there, beer came out pretty quickly. We ordered the food but that took some time. 4 of us got the wings and when the food came out the wings were warm. The flavor kicking bourbon on the wings was pretty good but it would’ve been better if the wings were hot. Might come back with a smaller group.

The staff here is awesome! They answered my questions and allowed me to ude the wifi! They have a deli and a store. I was greeted with a smile and felt instantly welcome. This is a must stop! Ill def stop here again if in the area!

This business now has a new sports bar constructed next to their deli. It appears to be very nicely setup with a separate bar area and sitting area outside the bar with a TV and speakers, but neither were on to entertain their guests. The draft beer taps were not operational so we just had can beers. OK.The menu was very basic sandwiches or hot dogs. We ordered a turkey sandwich but was told 5 minutes later that they had no turkey available. This is a deli!! WTH, no turkey?Well, we then ordered a ham sandwich. It came very basic, served on soft white bread. No hoagie or pretzel bun or even toasted. Something my mom would have made me for a school lunch 40 years ago.Sorry, but this new sports bar will fail soon if they do not change their menu, supply music and/or turn on their TVs. This place was absolutely uninviting and boring.The owners just need to go down to the nearby Tiki Hut to see an inviting and desirable sports bars to see how a business is run. I wanted to mention this to the owners as suggestions but both were gone when we left.I gave then 3 stars because it was new, clean and the server was good. But the atmosphere and food were one stars. This place has potential and would love to see them be successful, but they better change soon or they will be out of business by the July 4th weekend.
