We decided to stop by after school at 1:45pm, during business hours, and was met with this sign: "open at 3pm". The door was locked and the phone number online (615) 443-4040 was out of service.

The last two times we have been to this location (both in 2023), the slab has been broken and they were out of some mix-ins.ETA: Based on other reviews, the slab has been broken for about a year, so I lowered my review from2 to 1 stars.

There were 2 people working when I went in. The lady was super friendly and said if I wanted to try flavors to let her know. I tried 3 but wasnt crazy about it, then my husband ordered something so she started making that. The male employee came up to me and said what do you want? I asked if I could try another one. So I tried birthday cake which was delicious. I asked for a scoop of that in the white chocolate waffle bowl. When i took my first bite the waffle was so stale which I said out loud. The lady employee heard me and with an attitude said they shouldn't be because they just made them last night. Well, it is. I am assuming she thought I was being rude or she took offense because she made them but all I know is that waffle bowl tasted like it sat there for a week. The ice cream was delicious but service kind of sucked.

I like this place but every time I’ve gone recently they are closed much earlier than their hours say online. So I guess don’t get your hopes up if you go after dinner!

Ice cream was great and so was the service! The only reason for 3 stars instead of 5 is the fact that, for the 3rd time we had gone there. The slab was broken, which means the toppings had to get layered instead of mixed in. Which not a big deal, but I personally think the slab is a big part of the experience of going there. I Really hope it gets fixed soon though!

We just got to cups of ice cream, i didn't find anything special, There machine was down to mix. Was very sad. Husband got Sweet cream and brownies. Me Vanilla and cherries, brownies. I was not impressed, i have had much better ice cream. But it was a nice little treat before the trip home.

Came here in July just after moving in, we were out and about and the heat was exhausting. We enjoyed the a/c and we were too hot to care that their slab was broken we just wanted ice cream. I kinda remember the peppermint pattie mix in tasting stale - but the ice cream was good. I guess the heat made me remember this place better. Fast forward to late September and we're out running errands after dinner and my husband and I decided to go back to the place we found our first week here. It's been over two months and the slab is STILL not fixed. Now they have plastic motel cups for your ice cream and my dark chocolate tasted freezer burned and the topping weren't layered just sprinkled on top. Hubby got his favorite chocolate peanut butter and said it was meh. And we were craving ice cream. So disappointed. I guess we'll be faithful Main Street Mercantile Creamery peeps now.

Don't order a cake. They do not know how to do pretty writing, it just needed to say a simple happy birthday and the name. I have never seen worse writing. It tasted good, which was why I gave it two stars, but otherwise I was severely disappointed especially for the price.

9-10-22 We didn't ask the employee's name, she was working by herself? She was very attentive and courteous and we had no issues. Service was excellent!
