My boyfriend has wanted to try this place for a few weeks now. It used to be an ice cream shop called Scoopz, but they renamed it and started serving food in addition to the ice cream. We ordered 2 chicken cutlet parmesean and 1 lasagna to go...$72 after tip.I kept telling my boyfriend I didn't have a good feeling about the food being good because it never smelled like food in the restaurant while we were waiting. Even if most of the ingredients were pre made, I feel like the "restaurant" should still smell like food, at least a little. 9 minutes after ordering, our food was being bagged up and handed to us.Got home, opened up the food, and was instantly disappointed. I received this little square of lasagna. My boyfriend and his son received a pan filled with spaghetti noodles and sauce that had spilled out everywhere. Nothing about any of it was authentic Italian food...ive spent quite a bit of time on Italy. The worst part was there was no seasoning used in any of it. No salt, no pepper, no garlic, nothing. It was just bland, seasonless meat and sauce. The chicken cutlets in the chicken parm were dry and tough.We wanted to like this place because the owners are so sweet, but it was just not good. And the price for the poor quality food made it even more disappointing. We all took a few bites of our food, then ended up throwing $72 worth of food in the trash ?

There sandwich would have been good had they put meat in it,I had two thin slices of pepperoni,&two thin slices of salami paper thin 2 slices of mozzarella,one of there regular costumers said I can't believe how much meat you put on your sandwiches,boy I wish I would have asked him to order my sandwich. ( Dissapointed for sure)

Don't let the sign fool you, While it is an ice cream shop, this is actually an Italian Restaurant. Great food, great take out, great owner. Why get pizza when you can get a authentic, ny Italian meal .

If you are looking for a real sandwich this is your spot. Stopped in on Friday for lunch around 10:45 and the door was unlocked so I went in. Frank the owner was standing there and asked me what I wanted and I explained to him how I'd never been there but I tell him what I like. He goes on to make a sandwich brings it to me and OMG it's amazing. Come to find out they don't even open till noon. Had a great 30 min conversation. These people are the real deal.
