I ordered online like my dad used to. I may remember wrong, but I don’t recall the cake being so heavy and wet…. The whiskey balls are a hit tho!

local man who got into cake & candy that includes Jack in the ingredients after he retired. Very friendly gentleman who operates this in a building next to his home. Very informative on how it all began as well as letting u look around how its made. The sign is one on the main road as u approach Jack Daniels so watch for it & take the half mile detour and check it out, plus the tour is free, and his cake & candy is unique.

Mr. Thomas who owns this business gives you a personal tour of his company. The tour is short in walking distance, as we were a bit surprised when we drove up to the small Cake and Candy Company. We enjoyed every minute of our tour. His cakes and candies are delicious, and we stocked up on them for friends and family. Mr. Thomas is a treasure trove of information about not only his sweet treats but also about TN. This was one of our favorite tours in all of Lynchburg. Although the taste testing wasn’t liquid, every minute of our visit was worth the trip. Don’t miss out on this tour! It’s free!

Excellent okra!! Finally, a place that still knows how to cook okra the right way. The food and tea were fabulous and people are great. Another must eat here in Lynchburg!

So glad we saw the sign and turned around! I enjoyed meeting the owners and learning about the business and how it all started. The cakes, candy, and peanuts are delicious! They also have a few more items to choose from.
A little cake and candy place. Owners are very friendly. Pecans are yummy!

We stopped thinking it was a candy/bakery store. It is a online store, however, an employee who was working allowed us to make a purchase. Learn some more history of Lynchburg, TN. Great stop! We enjoyed our time listening to the employee and I believe the owner.

If you do nothing else in Lynchburg you have to stop here. You actually drive up to their house and are greeted by a friendly dog. The owners are so friendly and chatty. Bill will tell you all about the history of the store and town. The whiskey cake is delicious and so are the pecans and chocolates. If you can’t make the drive you can order from the website. It would make an excellent Christmas gift, but going in person is best.
