this restaurant has no consideration for dietary restrictions. i’ve been to a lot of distillery restaurants and work in food service, so i am well aware of laws around food safety and industry standards. i’m pescatarian and was expecting there to be fried catfish because it is on the online menu. when i found out there wasn’t, i kept it pushing, assuming that the hostess would know about the ingredients in the dishes and how it was prepared. she had no clue what anything was fried in or what dishes contained meat. i know my dietary restriction is a personal choice, but not everyone is that lucky. if someone had an allergy or otherwise medically necessary reason to avoid certain food they would have been screwed. there is nowhere in the booking or checkin process when this is considered. im shocked this restaurant hasn’t been shut down due to an allergic reaction. jack daniels absolutely has the resources to do the bare minimum and they refuse to.

What can I say! I'm flabergasted by this experience. It is all I wanted to try in the South but was not able to find. You MUST dine here when in Lynchburg. The food is all southern home made, Mrs Janice was so nice and told us a bunch of great stories about the days. The gift store has themed gifts and the house is beautiful.Dietary restrictions: Might be hard to have a special meal since we don't choose the menu and we all eat the same.

Loved the atmosphere, the food, and the service. The restaurant is located in an old boarding house. All food is served family style and all you can eat. Go, if possible, when they have fried chicken.

Some of the best food in the south. You are at a big table with other folks and a hostess. The food is brought out in bowls and passed around.Most of the tables have a lazy susan.The hostess tells you all about the history of Miss Bobos and Jack Daniels. Very enjoyable.

Everything was good. Food experience and family style. They have a set menu and only take reservations, so please check ahead before you go. They made as much food as you needed and had dessert. Staff were kind, and the place had a cute charm to it.
