We try a different menu item every time we visit Kami's and we've never been disappointed. The food is magnificent and the service is a great & fun group.

First time trying this place, and noticed right away that the menu is extensive with some unique items. Definitely got me intrigued! We ended up getting the Buffalo chicken wontons, the shrimp Hibachi meal, and the Double Trouble roll. Everything was fresh and delicious! Our server was super nice and helpful, and we got our food quickly. The restaurant and restroom were very neat and clean. Great spot and really nice staff. Definitely will go back!

I'm a regular. I always get sushi here, and it's always excellent. If you want to be extravagant, go for the ultimate sushi and sashimi combo (see photo). Cost is $40, so not cheap, but could be a lot more. My wife loves the steak and chicken hibachi. This is a new place, and they haven't figured out timing quite yet. Often the sushi comes out after the hibachi stuff, because it takes longer to prepare. Also, I once had an addon order take about 45 minutes to show up. Probably because they put it in the back of the line behind a bunch of full orders. They learn from their mistakes, though. I expect in a year's time they will have ironed out the organization problems. If the food is great, the rest doesn't matter much. If the food isn't great, no matter how good the service is it won't be enough.

A friend and I had dinner at Kami, a restaurant here in Manchester that describes itself as Sushi and Asian. The menu is either online or a dirty computer printout. There are either no descriptions or very cursory ones. Considering that this is southern middle Tennessee, far from the west coast and even farther from Japan and the orient, better descriptions and even some pictures would be appreciated. When we entered I noticed that the floor was sticky. So was the table.I ordered a Korean dish of broiled ribs. It was served without a knife, only chop sticks and a fork were offered. I had to use my pocket knife to cut my meat. Although I received a full plate, it was mostly bone, fat, and gristle. I would estimate that I received no more than three (3) ounces of edible meat that was covered with grease. The squid salad was good.To make a long story short, it sucked. I left hungry and disappointed. Luckily, I had half a sub sandwich at home in the fridge. My advice is don't waste your money.

Kami Sushi & Asian Kitchen a Outstanding Sushi Gem in Town!Kami Sushi & Asian Kitchen stands out as a stellar Japanese dining destination in our town. Offering top-notch sushi at reasonable prices, this establishment is a rare gem in our little town's culinary landscape. In a world where quality sushi can be hard to come by, Kami Sushi exceeds expectations with its fresh and delicious offerings. Despite encountering some initial hiccups typical of new restaurants, recent visits have showcased remarkable improvement in service quality.During my last two experiences, I was delighted to find that the service had vastly improved, indicating that the team at Kami Sushi has diligently addressed any early challenges. This dedication to refinement speaks volumes about their commitment to customer satisfaction. To those who may have been deterred by previous less-than-stellar experiences, I urge you to reconsider and give Kami Sushi another chance. With its newfound excellence in service and consistently outstanding sushi, this restaurant has firmly established itself as a must-visit destination for Japanese cuisine enthusiasts in our town.

We really enjoyed our visit. The food was excellent. Portions are excellent. The restaurant is very clean. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and strive to serve you.Ambience was good also.We brought home food, so the value is great also.I had the chicken and shrimp hibachi and Kaye had the vegetable hibachi. Both dishes were great. We drank water, no appetizers, our bill was about $29.Parking: When they are busy you may have to park on another street and walk to them as parking is limited.

What an amazing little gem in the heart of Manchester! The Ramen and Bao Buns are phenomenal! The sushi is also delicious! I ate the bao buns so quick I didn't get a photo.

Thank you Kano Sushi and Asian Kitchen for such an enjoyable experience. ?Dietary restrictions: They were so kind about me asking them to remove diary(specifically cream cheese) from my sushi order.☺️

Celebrated my birthday with Kami this year! The food was incredible. My mom had the hibachi chicken bento box, dad and I had sushi, and my wife even liked the fried rice! This place has ramen, ramune sodas, and everything else you could want. The green tea ice cream mochi and the bao buns were so good! The staff was also fast, responsive, and super accommodating, I'll definitely be back there again and again and again!!!

I went there for the first time on Saturday, March 9. We sat at the bar and Amy waited on us. We couldn't have asked for a better waitress! She talked to us about dishes and pointed us in the direction. We got the California roll, shrimp tempura, fried rice with crab meat and a side of shrimp. We were in heaven! Everything tasted wonderful! We will definitely be back... several more times!!!

We love this place! Great access to great sushi from the interstate, and what a gem for us locals. Beautifully plated, so fresh, and great flavor. The atmosphere is upbeat and friendly. Our favorite roll is the Spicy Mama, but the Godzilla is a close runner up. The tuna Sashimi is off the charts amazing. We highly recommend this awesome little hole in the wall restaurant.
