My wife and I are from Crossville and were in Maryville to pick up a clock that was repaired. We asked the owner if he could recommend a good Italian restaurant. He immediately said Joes. I guess "good" is a very subjective word. I am far from a chef Ramsey. The experience sucked. The place needs to be dismantled and every square inch from equipment to tables should be powerwashed and sanitized. I mean the tables were sticky with debris in amongst the items that remain on the table.......because no-one ever moves anything.The floors are filthy. The restrooms are not to happy. I had to stand at the urinal with my legs spread wider than my shoulders so I could avoid standing in urine. [I chuckle to myself when guests look surprised or taken back when we ask them to remove their shoes when entering our home.......thats why]The light switch plate and door filthy. When I left to exit, the door handle came off in my hand. I can imagine what the kitchen looks like. The food I guess.... commensurate with the rest....subpar. America in decline...citizenry demoralized...nobody cares. Sad...it really is.

I typically love getting food from here, but this time I’m very unhappy with my order. My fiance and I both ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo, his with chicken and mine without. We did order it to go, so it being cold was expected, but it was very very bland and watery. There didn’t seem to be any seasoning whatsoever, and we didn’t get any bread (which is my favorite). Hopefully our next experience will be better, it was just disheartening to pay almost 60 dollars for food and it not be good.

My wife and I were in Maryville today, we were looking for Italian food. I did a Google search and Joe's Italian came up in the search, my wife and I found the restaurant. We were immediately seated, our server Scott answered our menu questions. The wife and I shared a salad which was fresh with Italian dressing, plus Catalina on the side. My wife did the angel hair pasta while I did the lasagna. The portions are good sized for both entrees. The marinara sauce on the angel hair was delicious as was the lasagna. Great prices with the portions and a nice selection of wines for Italian dining. The ambience was dark, like an Italian place should be at the dinner hour We met Joe who was gracious and glad to meet us We're looking forward to our next visit with plans to try the pizza. The wife and I prefer "mom and pop" restaurants as opposed to the chains. We're glad the Google search led us to Joe's Italian.
First time eating here. My boyfriend and I enjoyed everything. The waitress was friendly, fast to get our drinks and food orders. Drinks were refilled without asking. Plates cleaned off the table right away. Very clean,relaxing environment. The owner who was also cooking came over to say hi to us. We definitely will be back. Didn't try the desserts due to not having enough room. Lol. Good size portions for the price.

The best food that's ever crossed my lips. Crab cakes are so delicious, the bruschetta is better then what I have had in Vegas or Cali. If you haven't tried their food then you must. Remarkable , delicious and a fantastic variety to choose from. Will definitely be your have to go to. One time eating their will have you convinced and hooked.
