I liked their food and the labor put into it. They even have the stone oven to bake naan. The Beef Masala was tender and delicious (although i was looking for a little more spice and saltiness). The Daal (lentil), biryani rice and the naan were great. The Mango Lassi in the menu caught my eyes coz that’s one of my staple orders in the middle eastern restaurant i normally go to in the Philippines. It didn’t disappoint! The yogurt was homemade. My husband ordered the Kheer (Sweet Rice Pudding), which he found interesting. Owner was very nice and friendly. Food was expensive considering that it looked like more of a takeout place than for dining and you will use plastic utensils. But the biggest takeaway in this Masala experience was that they have authentic, slow-cooked, delicious middle eastern food! If you’re adventurous, it’s worth a try!

I just have to say for a 1 man operation he gets it done. The smell of fresh naan is hypnotizing. The food is delicious and I always leave overstuffed! The space is a bit cramped and he sometimes won't have the full menu prepped, so I would just recommend calling ahead and asking what he's got. Definitely worth the hassle for the only authentic Indian food in Blount County.Vegetarian options: Lots of yummy food whether you are vegetarian or carnivore or somewhere inbetween.Dietary restrictions: Lots of yummy food whether you are vegetarian or carnivore or somewhere inbetween.Parking: The parking lot is massive for multiple stores, always had tons of space.Wheelchair accessibility: Entrance has no steps but the inside is a bit cramped.

Great food. It's uncomfortable to eat in there due to the size, but you can sit and wait at a table while he makes your food. Very quick to make our food too.

2024/02/19 Visited for lunch. There were only two people, us and the takeout group.Butter chicken curry and whatever I ordered cost about $16.The curry had plenty of chicken, was not spicy, and was filling.Water is provided in bottles for a fee.

If you want microwaved Indian food this is the spot for you! Without question you can tell he pre-makes his food and puts it all in hefty containers by the portion and just re-heats it to sell. Very lazy and can tell by how gross he lets his building stay.

The food is so delicious & he uses all fresh ingredients. I highly recommend this little restaurant. The owner is the cook & waiter & he's super nice. I will definitely go back. I would rather pay him than any chain restaurant. Plus, the absolute best garlic naan.

Such a cute little place. The food was so good! The service was fast and the staff (the owner I'm assuming) was very nice.

I've been there a half dozen times and never been disappointed. The menu has changed several times since opening which has been a good thing. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is, for me at least, it's pretty much a take out only kind of place. There are a couple of tables but when I have been there, it's just the owner/cook. He is extremely friendly and a great cook but when he gets busy there is not much for service. I highly recommend picking up dinner to go!

This was a delicious meal from a small business with generous portions. You can definitely feel good about spending your money here... repeatedly.Dietary restrictions: I had no trouble verifying with the owner what was safe to eat without wheat.

Where to start.... we were visiting the smokey mountain and had my baby with me ... we just asked if the food halal, and if you have the certification, just like in other restaurants, we do his answer was, "You may leave if you dont think it is halal food and then he proceeds on saying you live in haram Country and so on and was literally yelling but still we decided to order biryani for me as we were 3 and me being pregnant had no other option to order and then he said i cannot serve food for only one and if you order again ill not serve you any food .... we respectfully left the place.... idk about others reviews but this was one of my terrible experience in US.
