Great spot in midtown, cover for bands runs 10 to 15 bucks, location is amazing, walking distance to many other places. Bartenders are cool, can get crowded quickly,

It's a really cool place but it's super tiny they have good live music but it's literally elbow-to-elbow and hard to get a drink

Cute bar but bad service. Arrived late for a party 3/9/23 and stood at the bar to attempt to order a drink and the female bartender just ignored me. After realizing she wasn't going to help me and getting tired of standing there awkwardly, I went and sat down at the table and finally was able to flag down the male bartender who was serving the tables.Someone needs to tell the aforementioned female bartender that she needs to at least acknowledge people who are standing at the bar. They usually aren't just standing there to look pretty. They want a drink and it's her job to get them one.

The bartenders here all seem super nice and competent. It s a cute little space. But y'all..I really can only review the patio area....which is every thing a Midtown bar should have, including good fans and sturdy chairs. 100% Five star patio!!!ButI m pretty sure the building is haunted. The little bar room is well laid out and decorated. It's not that the interior design is spooky or anything off putting. It s quite cute with a chilled out aesthetic. The staff are lovely and welcoming. So either their neat little vintage photo booth thing in the back has something extra or the actual shop space it s self is just charged up with some kind something. It s not scary or anything, just a notable feeling once inside that grows stronger the farther away from the door.Being haunted isnt usually a problem for a Memphis bar and DKDC is no exception. It probably actually adds to the experience. Check their calendar as their entertainment runs a wide variety of tastes and there s probably at least one night coming up that you d like. The lady bartenders I encountered were all very fast and friendly, although I ve taken to drinking only Sprite when visiting since the building is haunted and spirits and spirits arent fun to mix.

It's like an upscale, crowded house party with the hottest people, the best clothes, the strongest drinks, and a band so close you can feel the heat rising off their instruments. If intimate were defined as a bar, it would be Bar DKDC.

Bartender was doing shots of fireball in between flirting with patrons and disappearing outside to smoke for 10 min.Made me a whiskey sour with bourbon, lime juice, and lemon juice. No simple syrup. The bar itself was cool, good vibe. They need a new bartender though stat.

Great Bartender! ABSOLUTE WORST SECURITY EVER. Most Racist security I’ve ever encountered in my life. If you are not white I do NOT recommend this place.
