Let me start off by saying the bartender Brenda was very standoffish when I sat down . She asked how long I was going to be at the bar , I asked why she replied "our regulars like to sit there" I arrived at 3pm and was informed that they would be here around 4 . "They pay my bills" she stated (I've worked in the industry for 15 years myself you don't want to rush patrons or make them seem unwelcomed) After I ate lunch and had a few drinks (with a friend) I left . My friend after I left was treated harshly when she asked for a beer. Brenda told her she was cut off my friend asked why , Brenda said "you walked thru that door" again implying that she was not welcome . I understand that a bar has the right to refuse service but there was a better way to do so.

Hi there, I've never written a review like this before, but I thought it was good for other people to know. I ordered the fried shrimp and as I was eating I noticed that the shrimp had not been deveined. (aka taking the poop out) so I told the waiter and a few minutes later the owner (I assume) came out with my plate an angrily (and defensively) told us that their shrimp was deveined despite me showing the waiter said vein and he took it to the back. My family member intervened and said that was indeed a vein from the shrimp. He got really defensive and said (along the lines of) if we can't satisfy you, you should go somewhere else. Mind you, we had been coming here for years and never had a complaint; however I had never interacted with this particular man before. It was very rude and unprofessional. The waiter was cool about it and took it off our bill, but the owner (again, assuming) was absolutely not cool. He disrespected us and called us liars when we only politely told him he had made a mistake. He won't own up to his mistakes and that will be the downfall of that restaurant or any business.

Great historic dive bar in the evenings, business lunch spot during the day. Best burger in town if you are looking for high grade, hand pattied beef cooked with salt and pepper over a grill, with great cheese choices on a half buttered hoagie. You can't go wrong with the sausage sandwich or anything for that matter.

Absolute favorite for many years. Try the burger, one of the best in the city. Service is always top notch. It's not fancy but it's cozy and authentic.

Whether it dinner or bar snacks, it’s hard to beat this local grill!
I'm sure I've reviewed this place before, but we revisited this past week and I was reminded of what a good time we have here. The waitresses are always so sweet to us. Our food was delicious!

The server was ok, probably just new to the job. I had a Prime Rib sandwich w/2 loaded potato skins. Potatoes skins were very delicious. The sandwich was fatty and tough in some bites. I wouldn't order this sandwich again. Also ordered an order of hot wings to go. A little pricey all was $77 with a tip.

Always excellent for lunch. Tricky parking sometimes, but awesome food. Friday lunch prime rib is great, Mondays put roast is excellent, and everything down to the typical burger is just great food. Try it all and you'll be
