I am on a spontaneous trip and landed in Memphis. I had to try Memphis barbecue to say that I’ve had it. I’m glad I do and I’m glad I chose this place.I had the rib dinner with sides. The sauce is sweeter than what I’m used to in KC, but it was good. It didn’t overpower the taste of the barbecued meat. Loved the fries and the tater salad was pretty good, even if i don’t care for sweet relish.The best thing is, I didn’t have to spend and arm and a leg. Spent $20 including their well deserved 23% tip.Definitely recommend this place!!

I really believed and heard this restaurant was really good. It wasn't. I got really sick from the rib tip plate over a bed of fries. Rib tips was super chewy and it tasted old. Mind you, I'm a chef and these ribs were at least two to three days old. The sausage and cheese plate was decent; however, the cheese was low grade and literally taste like card board. No taste at all. Sausage was seasoned well but slightly over cooked. Please stay away from this place. I'm a Memphis native and our BBQ is trash is not like the 80's and 90's when bbq was really great.
Tried the ribs this trip and they were pretty good. Got the mild sauce. My partner got the basic bbq sandwich and gave it a good rating too. Quite a bit smaller than their East location. Bottled drinks and no tea.Parking: Strip mall parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Spacious seating area. ADA compliant restroom
Food is good. Just really hate that they don't take call in orders!!!! That's a deal breaker for me when I'm tired AF and just getting off work. Don't like to be forced to order online and am forced to pay B4 I order everything and HOW I want everything ordered!!!!! I say away from restaurants ? that do that Now. Then have the NERVE TO SOLICIT A TIP. FOH

This was my first time purchasing food from Big Bill's BBQ and I was not disappointed. The food was served hot and it was delicious. I ordered two jumbo beef bbq sandwiches combos. The sandwiches were fresh and season to perfection. The fries were season and very fresh. I was truly impressed with the service I received when I first walked through the door. The cashier who took my order was very attentive and friendly. When I went they were doing some remodeling and it looks as though it's going to make a customer have a great dining experience. The atmosphere was very pleasant and relaxing.
Ordered the pull pork dinner. Food was absolutely bland. I received one small scoop of chopped pork. No seasoning. Paid $17 for 5 worth of food. Definitely not worth the wait.
