Black Lodge is one of my favorite places in Memphis. There's always something fun and/or weird happening, and I've met some of the most interesting, welcoming and lovely people there. In addition to being one of the last video rental places around, it's also an event venue, concert space, bar, lounge, so many things. LGBTQIA+ welcoming and affirming. Definitely recommend.
This is such a fun place to go! There are so many cool and fun events they put on that there is always a good time to be had here! The food is also delicious! Highly recommend the chiky chiky parm parm! The staff is really nice and great to talk to as well. We’ve been multiple times and each time we go, no matter what reason we go for, it is always such an amazing experience! You’ll have such a great time going here!

Quite an unusual place. One of the few places left in the country that still rents videos including VHS tapes. They have an open area where they set up chairs and have concerts. The atmosphere for the concert was intimate and the sound quality was very good.
