Local favorite, but not great. Maybe I caught them on a bad day today and the last time I visited, but the order was wrong, the server fixed that, the soup came out cold, the server fixed that as well, and then there was garbage in my drink. After the meal, I was overcharged for a cup of soup, and the server was told she could not fix the charge on my ticket (they charged me more than what was on the menu). My last visit, the fish and chips were half an order, and I mean 4 french fries and 1/4 of a fish filet with 1/2 spoonful of peas as a vegetable. It was way too expensive for what you get, and apparently the menu is being updated. The prices have already been updated, and they refuse to go by their outdated menu. The server was nice, obviously their hands were tied by their managers, and the ambience was good. Had these things even been average, I would rate this place a 1 of 5. You can go somewhere better for less.

Cute pub atmosphere and decent drinks. Our host was very kind and the Scottish Eggs were delicious. However, we received the wrong beer (my martini was spot on though) and no food menu (we knew about the Scottish Eggs from looking online), and we didn't see our server for about 40 minutes. We couldn't ask to place an entree order because no one asked and we never got menus! We ended up flagging the host down to cash out after about an hour. We were disappointed because this is where we wanted to eat our dinner! I don't eat eggs, but my husband LOVED the Scottish Eggs, but we couldn't justify waiting another 30+ minutes for our order to be taken. The table next to us even had to wave a staff member over to close out their tab, and they had been there longer than we were. On a slow Tuesday, this wasn't what we expected. Maybe if we sat inside or at the bar, we would have had different service. If we're ever in Memphis again, we'll give Celtic another shot, but maybe on a different day of the week!

They could have more lighting, and the sandwich had very little meat. I will not return there.

I don't like it when a company requires you to pay tips for everyone in the restaurant. They put a kitchen appreciation tip on the bill. Not cool. We didn't even eat. That one move will push me to find other places to eat and drink. Service was good.

Excellent pub atmosphere with a good selection of beer. Not always able to find Smithwick’s, they have it. Been twice. Had Irish poutine the first time, good. Shepherds pie, acceptable and small serving. No HP sauce. Odd for shepherds pie on the menu.

We came here with our pup and everyone was super friendly and they got us a water bowl. I lived in South Boston for a decade and was excited to try the shepherds pie. Just skip it; other items on their menu are way better. Fish and chips are solid. Great spot on Cooper.

Saturday was my second trip to CC and it didn't disappoint! It has definitely lived up to the hype and I'm now in love with corned beef sandwiches. Everything we've tried from there has been excellent. And even though they were slammed due to the amazing patio weather this past weekend, service was still great!!

I only had the French fries and 1 beer, but it was good. My wife got a Shepards pie to take home and she ate it up!!

Typical bar atmosphere. Good service. Felt like a bait and switch. All online ads talked about the food and full menu items. Once there, and after I had ordered a drink and it was delivered I was presented with a small 5 item Mexican inspired menu (pop-up menu) and told that was all they had. Being I was hungry and didn't want to go hunting for somewhere else, I settled. Still not sure why it was a Mexican inspired menu in an Irish pub.

Great fish and chips, cheese grits, and bread pudding! We also tried the soda bread; it was a bit dry but not bad with butter. For a bar/pub it was surprising at how good the food was.
