Chicken & waffles were good, whole chicken pieces. But would prefer chicken strips.

After opening its doors in 2018, the restaurant has now closed its doors. Chef Tam was known in Memphis for her culinary skills and also being a Food Network Chopped Champion. While visiting Memphis I had an opportunity to dine at this establishment and enjoyed the food, but not the customer service. Looking at other reviews, the restaurant seemed to be on a steady decline. I wish Chef Tam all the best going forward...

Waited 2hr to sit after being told 45 mins the host was terrible the food was warm up but still cold. Fish was fresh and that was the only thing. To wait that long and get disappointed was not cool I will not recommend no one and I came all the way from

I ate here tonight with a group of colleagues. We were told the wait was 45 minutes. The waiter was rude. They were out of half of the menu. We were not offered refills, giving paper forks, and told that they had no knives. Once the food came out it was decent at best. The bread on the burgers was soggy. Overall, the service at Chef times is terrible. The waiters are not attentive. They are not friendly, and definitely unprofessional. It's quite sad that her legacy is being tainted by the people she employs.

Food was good I just wish they offered turkey meat option for the dirty rice and greens and turkey chops a lot of people don't eat beef and pork

It was a group of 7 of us visited from Georgia on January 13, 2024. I was told an hour wait to be seated. I was fine with that. One hour turned into an hour and a half. Once seated our drink orders were taken and food orders since we had waited so long. Drinks were brought to the table. Two ladies ordered fried green tomatoes and only one were brought to the table. Most of the entrees and bread were sold out. The waitress said it's a bad time to come on Saturday. We waited another hour and half for food to be brought to the table. One lady got her Mac/cheese right before everyone were finished eating. I didn't wait for my food. I asked the waitress to cancel my order. The restaurant isn't that big and it wasn't many people in there when we were seated. People came after us were served their food before our table were served. There wasn't any compensation when talked to the manager. Customer service was lacking. Parking is limited.

This was one of our favorite restaurants in Memphis! We went for a quick lunch before the football game and this is probably the reason I didn't get a picture of the amazing food! The wings off the appetizer section were ?, the homemade Teriyaki sauce is delicious! The grilled chicken sandwich with bacon was so juicy and delicious! The fried okra made me sad I don't have anything close to it at home! My son loved his catfish tacos! Our waitress was great, she was so helpful and made some good suggestions for dinner later on. Your Iowa customers can't wait to come back!! Thank you!

Is food great? yes, but service is awful. It took us an hour and 30 minutes to be seated and once we were seated they told us that most of the thing on the menu were no longer available. It was annoying because if they had just told us that in the beginning we could have went somewhere else instead of waiting that long. You can always tell if workers have had a bad day because they are rude to customers. The guy in the front is rude, does not care about any concerns that customers may have. I've opted to never go into the restaurant again and to just order my food through the phone, but no matter what day or time I call they never pick up the phone, no surprise. My best advice is to pray before showing up to the restaurant and hope that the day you go is the day they actually want to work.

Didn't hate it, but didn't love it either. Very very long wait, and my food was $31. I don't believe it was worth that much, especially since my food had little to no seasoning. The catfish was good and the shrimp and grits were not bad but the red beans and rice had no flavor what so ever.Parking: Not easy to find parking

Listen. I'm stuffed typing this. First off, the food is amazing. Everything is so flavorful. I thought when I opened the container I would need hot sauce. Baby, you don't need anything else. Each item has each it's own flavor. Worth every penny. Highly recommend to everyone looking for true southern good fixings. I haven't had food like this in a minute. Will try them again!

We went for late lunch this afternoon. No wait for a table & service was great! Portion sizes are HUGE! We ordered Bayou fries for app, chicken & waffles, as well as fried chicken with greens. Everything was delicious ! We were hoping to try the dessert that helped them win the competition on tv, but they were out of some of the ingredients. We will definitely be returning as there is more on the menu we want to try! Highly recommend.

The young lady told us the wait would be 1 hour. However, it was almost two hours before we sat down. They are truly understaffed with two waitresses and a manager that just walks around doing nothing. She could at least be taking the drink orders and bringing them to the table. My wings were just okay flavor wise but it sat in the window 10 mins before they were brought to me. I was so hungry I didn't complain because we waited long enough. Again the mgr should be bringing the food to the table to. I'm not trying to be ugly but the mgr and the waitresses are obese and slow. Don't have a problem with obese it's the slow part that annoyed me. You're too busy to get having private conversations. They should put some pep in there step. After being sat I had to wait another 15 minutes to place my drink and food order. No one offered refills. I had to request everything, refills, hot sauce, condiments. The bayou fries and catfish was good. The collard greens under seasoned and tough to eat. My daughter's fried chicken over seasoned. The hot sauce is to vinegary. They only have house made hot sauce. They really made me mad after my daughter and niece got up from the table to go to the restroom and they watched us like we were going to skip out on the check. They are very unorganized. I would probably never go out of my way to eat here again. If someone invites me then maybe.

If i could rate this place a zero i would! My fiancé and I drove from Mississippi to try this restaurant and was waiting for an hour to be seated.Upon arrival we were told we would be waiting for 20 minutes, instead we were waiting for an hour. After we were seated the told us they we out of Salmon and Catfish!! 75% of the menu is either Salmon or Catfish. We should have been told this news, immediately as guest. The venue is not the cleanest and the bench was sat on was very hard and cold. Our table was wobbling and completely unsteady. The place was a 0/10. I can not rate the food because unfortunately we didn’t stay. We drive for the catfish and the Salmon. Do better.

This experience was amazing. The jerk wings were the best. The sweet potatoes could have been a little bit sweeter and the pork chops could have been seasoned more. Mac and cheese was ok. I absolutely loved the fish tacos. They were spicy but I love spicy foods. Also everything was cooked fresh.
