One of our favorite eating spots in town. As far as we know they are currently still closed and haven't had their grand reopening yet. So, someone maybe want to update this info on yelp. With that said, maybe call before visiting.

We stumbled upon this place for our anniversary dinner and could not have chosen a better dining experience. Felicia worked as hard as her employees. All extremely pleasant and professional. The food was SUPURB! I had the tenderloin and my husband had the salmon. But the chicken crepes for a starter is what started the dinner with a bang! My mouth was in heaven! We also had the fried green tomatoes, grit muffins and Mac and cheese, which were all to die for! But because it was SO good and it WAS our anniversary, we had to go against our waistbands pleas for help and indulged in the cheesecake tart- go ahead and practice some self love and do. not. pass up dessert. We will be back and we’re bringing friends next time! Thank you Felicia and staff, for a beautiful dinner of celebration for us.

What can I say but thank you for such a nice evening out. My friends and I visited for our final night out at Downtown Dining Week. It seems to have become a tradition. The ambiance is nice and not crowded. The staff is on point and the food is fresh and perfectly seasoned. Let's talk about the drinks. They are prepared and tweaked if asked. Delicious!!! If you are into Southern Creole cuisine with a flair this is the spot for you. The catfish was prepared grilled or fried, either way I could have picked up the bowl and drank the hoppin John concoction underneath. The deviled eggs and char grilled oysters were fantastic. We all raved that we could have sopped the brine from the oysters with a piece of toast. Yum! Overall our experience was great, from the time we walked in greeted by the Chef until the time the host bid us goodnight.

Amazing food and drinks. Staff was so friendly and welcoming. Visiting for the weekend from Boston. So fun, met a local neighborhood dog Nacho!! Staff had so much fun with him and parents let us visit too! Made our night.

This place has been a winner in Downtown Memphis for years. My wife and I just went there recently for the first time in about three years and I'm happy to report the food is still delicious, the menu is still innovative (if not exactly daring) and the service is still pleasantly competent and mostly invisible. We each had a fish dish and both were cooked perfectly, served hot and nicely presented. The Oysters of Love appetizer is really, really good. Wine selection was good, but wine-by-the-glass choices were limited. The bar looks to have a nice whiskey selection, but there's no menu for it and the server didn't have a clue about what was available (he suggested Jack Daniel's or Wild Turkey -- c'mon man).Speaking of servers: With the exception of the whiskey fail, our server was great. Knew his stuff, didn't linger with a bunch of small talk and checked in on us just enough.I will always recommend this place to friends from out-of-town.A final note: You don't need a tie here, or a jacket, or pearls. Jeans are ok. But for crissakes you can do better than a t-shirt, shorts, ball cap and flip-flops, which I saw one guy in his late-50s wearing on the night we were there. If its my restaurant, I tell the dude to go to TGI Fridays or come back with pants on, but that's just me. This is a place for grown-ups, so dress your age and not like my 9-year-old on a camping trip.

I was in town for a conference in Memphis and had one evening where I was on my own for dinner, and Felicia's was suggested to me. I was able to easily book a 6:00 reservation through their website, and just let me say, the entire experience definitely lived up to the hype. From the second I walked in, I was treated respectfully and attentively, as if I was the only other person in the restaurant and was just as important as the table of 10 sitting in the very next room, even though I was just a party of one. I so wish that I could remember my server's name, because she was positively delightful (management - she was working the evening of Wed 9/15 if that helps) and she definitely deserves props. I was never in want of anything for my whole meal, and she went out of her way to make sure it was a great experience for me. In fact, when I ordered the shrimp and grits (to die for, I might add), she assured me that they weren't very spicy, and I let her know that I love spicy food, she told me that her brother works in the kitchen so she would see what she could do to kick it up a few notches for me. And man oh man, was it ever delicious! I also had a side order of the grit muffins (the sauce was scrumptious), and to drink I tried the Grand Manhattan and the French 75. And let me tell you, that bartender definitely knows what he's doing! All in all in it was a positively delightful experience, and I will definitely be returning on my next visit. As a side note, there was some confusion on my part when it came to paying the bill because the gratuity was already built in so I just assumed they had already run my credit card (I know, total blonde moment), and simply got up and left the restaurant when I was done. Later that evening, I received a call from a very polite gentleman at the restaurant that explained that they did not have a signed copy of my credit card receipt and that it appeared that it hadn't been run. Once I realized what I had done, I was MORTIFIED. Here I had this amazing experience, and they probably thought I pulled a dine and dash. I promptly took care of the entire bill over the phone and apologized profusely, but once again I was just really impressed with how kind and gracious they were about the whole thing. They easily could have come at me accusingly about the incident (which probably would've resulted in me becoming a blubbering bawling mess on the phone), but instead they gave me the benefit of the doubt and assumed it was an oversight from the start, which it most certainly was. That might seem like a small thing, but I don't think enough people do that in the world today and are so quick to assume bad motives on other people, and I just really appreciated it. So thank you, Felica's and whoever it was that called me that evening. Long story short, fabulous restaurant, to die for food, great drinks, lovely atmosphere, and good, honest, real people. What more can you really ask for? Highly recommend.

Came to this restaurant while visiting Memphis. We were attracted by the focus on locally sourced ingredients and their seafood menu. I had the salmon and my wife had the lamb oso buco. Both were excellent. My only complaint that lost them a star is that a tip of 22% is included in the bill. You have ability to change that and can only add additional tip. Beyond the high rate, it also leads to less than great service. Our waitress was sub par at best. She failed to tell us about the specials and it was difficult to get her attention when we needed something. Clearly her service was not worth the tip. The four stars are for the food, but I have to say I will probably never come here again because of the high tip and low service.

Last night, we had dinner at this restaurant. I think this was the worst experience I have ever had. We were seated by the entrance of the restaurant. After we received our drinks, there was a couple that walked in the door with a dog the size of a Saint Bernard named Nacho. A member of the staff met the couple at the door and fed the dog right there in the restaurant. I love dogs, but this was completely inappropriate. The dog was slobbering everywhere. They proceeded to talk for about ten minutes like we were not even there. Our food took a very long time to come out with there being about ten people in the restaurant. I had the eggplant parm. When I asked for extra sauce, I was told, “The sauce is inside the dish.” My husband and I could not believe we had this horrible experience. We will not be back, and I do not recommend anyone else wasting their time coming here. I understand having a bad night, but this was a horrible experience all around with no regard for us as customers.

Had a reservation at 8, had to wait 20 mins to be seated even though the table was open. Had to wait another 20 to order. Don’t order the lump crab deviled eggs. You will find pieces of cartilage and their excuse is “it’s hand picked so that’s going to happen”. I guess they gave us $4 off after I initially posted this review. My boyfriend and I also ordered the BLFGT salad, which is how I found this place through an article about good food in Memphis. It was mediocre at best. The green tomatoes were pretty crunchy. Go to Sage for green tomatoes; their green tomatoes were WAY better and not overpriced like Felicia Suzanne. The osso buco was great, but the duck/mushroom lasagna was god awful. The duck was burnt to a crisp, and both my boyfriend and I couldn’t eat it. It got to a point where I didn’t even complain and asked for the check because I knew I’d have to wait another hour to get any resolution. Then they have us a complimentary dessert (the bread pudding) and wow it was not good. Not really sure how you can mess up the complimentary dessert but they did it! Never eating here again. We spent 2.5 hours here, spent $104, and I’ve never left a restaurant more angry and unsatisfied than this place. They also automatically put 22% gratuity on the bill regardless of your party size, which is smart because we would have definitely left NO tip. GO ANYWHERE ELSE. Pretty sure I got sick from the food. Started feeling nauseous and puking about an hour or two after dinner. The owner reached out to me later and comped us for the gratuity and the full price of the appetizers, and she was very apologetic. Appreciated that.

Awful service. Overpriced food. Go somewhere else

The only reason I would give this place more than 1 star is because the main courses were good. That's the only positive note here, so soak it in. All 6 people in my party were more than happy with their meals. I was going to give 3 stars, but I downgraded it by 1 star because of the poor condition that our oysters were in. All 12 oysters were nearly dry when we received them. They were plopped down on the table without any explanation of where they came from and they didn't give us any small spoons or forks to either add sauces to them and/or scrape the oysters from the shells because every single one of them was not properly prepared. That fact starts to become secondary when the service is so bad that it's laughable. I can honestly say that not one single aspect of any portion of the service was done properly....aside from the constant apologies that we got from the poor guy who "was only filling in." It took forever for the first drink order and the last drink didn't get brought out until I reminded him. When he did bring it out it was a 2nd of someone else's drink. You can't buy a glass of wine at this place, which I have never experienced in all of my years dining out. When our appetizers were brought out from the kitchen, the person who brought them had a giant mouthful of food they were chewing on as the plates were left on the table. She instructed her helper, as she chewed, to "just put them anywhere", so all of the plates were left in one spot for us to move them around. 2 of us ordered salads before our meal. When those were finished our waiter came and asked us if we would like desserts. At this point we were laughing at every interaction with this guy, but our main courses had not come out yet. Oops! No side dish came with serving spoons.....none of them. We had to ask. None of us were given silverware with our meals. Those of us who had steaks had to ask for steak knives. We were there celebrating a 50th wedding anniversary and our bill came to over $650 including the ridiculously presumptuous 22% automaticity added gratuity. They brought out a golf ball sized ice cream thing with a candle in it for my parents. Given the $$ we spent and all of the apologies from the waiter for the obviously poor service, the least they could have done was being out something big enough to share.....I can't remember a nice restaurant that I've ever been to for a special occasion not doing something a bit more than this. None of us will ever be back. I understand it's hard to find good help these days, but this was over the top bad service for a restaurant that should be able to manage this a little better. Someone in this place needs to take ownership and train the employees properly.

Great food. TERRIBLE service. Not coming back. Well to start on a positive note the food was pretty good. Loved the lamb osso bucco. But honestly it took forever to get our drinks and even longer to get our meals. Literally did not get our meals until 2 hours after we sat down. Pretty sure our waitress didn't put our orders in. She came back a second time take out orders half an hour after taking them initially. OK, Covid... I get it. When we got the bill the waitress never returned. After 30 minutes I flagged the manager to take my card. Imagine my surprise to see that the restaurant had put on a 22% gratuity on the bill... for SUCH BAD SERVICE-- AUTOMATICALLY! I felt used. Not. Going. Back. Ever.
