Speaking from self experience, the foods that I’ve ordered have been “Absolutely Delicious”! When walking in the door my order is ready, container open for me to view the food before I paid for the order was a plus for me. My go to meals are; “Grilled-n-Fried Catfish-Grilled Salmon the Salmon Sandwich and their Steamed Butter Broccoli”..I’m just saying, So-Far-So-Good..
I am slowly making my way through the menu, but everything I've had so far has been sublime!!The Salmon Pasta was love at first bite. I was distraught when I looked down and discovered my plate was empty.The Chicken Quesadilla!! My world was flipped upside down and turned around when the intoxicating flavors hit my tongue. I knew it wasn't going to be an ordinary Quesadilla, but my brain hadn't really read the menu when I was initially ordering, nor was there a detailed description of the dish. It was the love affair that I never knew I needed in my life. Latin Quesadillas could never taste that good, truly ruined.The ladies are always cordial when I come in and order on the spot.As for the atmosphere, I can not speak much on it since I order take out all the time. From my experience waiting for my food inside, it's pretty chilled and laid-back. I can imagine that it's pretty packed on a Friday or Saturday night.
Very friendly my husband and enjoyed our food as usual. We will be back. Feels like we family every time we visit. Southwest egg rolls delicious. Everything is delicious ?
I just ordered Cajun pasta with chicken and shrimp extra Alfredo sauce and shrimp. This was the most horrible dish I've ever tasted. Everything was just BLAND. There was no seasoning, no love and no effort put in when preparing this dish WHATSOEVER. I'm thoroughly disappointed and upset. $25 gone down the DRAIN- just like the actual dish.

OMG, sooooo good. I ordered the Salmon pasta, and my Son ordered the 3 peice Catfish and the Southwest Eggrolls. When I tell you those was my ALL TIME FAVORITE. I KID YOU NOT. SOOOO SOOOO GOOOOD . Only thing, we thought that we was eating in only to find out when we arrived, that we had to carry out. Due to them moving to a new location. Excellent customer service as well. Everything was to it's seasoned to perfection.

Southwestern egg rolls terrible. They were over cooked and dried out in the middle. I guess they forgot they were in the old grease.Normally they're good and bigger. Taste awful! I also ordered the Jumbo grilled shrimp. Not so jumbo...small shrimp! Highly disappointed. I called to speak with someone and didn't get an answer and was not able to leave a voice mail. Don't waste your money or time. They food has went down in the dumps!
Menu prices are wrong. Not only online here but in the restaurant! False advertising. Check your receipt closely if you don't want to be over charged. Decent food, but nothing special. Overpriced small portions. 4 chops and boiled broccoli for $25. This one chop is not much bigger than a quarter, lol! Also, the cashier stated they impose COVID restrictions just as a way to keep people from hanging out in the restaurant. Not the best experience.

Saying the pasta was mediocre would be an understatment. Chicken and Shrimp was over cooked and burnt and pasta was bland and mush. I can't beleive they charged me $16.46 for burnt shrimp.

Yesterday I had the Slappin Salmon on Buttered Toasted Brioche Bun with Lettuce, Tomato, Red Onion and Cilantro Lime Aioli.The salmon was plentiful and flaky, the Bun was soft, fresh and buttery, the veggies were fresh, lettuce was crisp and the aioli was very tasty!We also tried the Turkey Burger, again served on a Soft Buttered Brioche Bun, Nice size turkey burger patty and fresh veggies to complement.Overall the food was pretty good and tasty, We were not allowed to sit in the establishment. We were given a restaurant pager (buzzer) to notify us when the order was ready for pick up.We ate in the car because this establishment is carry out only due to Covid-19 restrictions ...Thank you for taking the time to read my review. I use to go to flavor house on Kirby all the time for a while. even when the wait time was super long I still waited because I loved the food. but at some point it got ridiculous! so I stopped going and finally went today after about 2 years. food was good but the restaurant has been hot with no air since covid. workers are angry and short but I can see why. the restaurant in itself looks terrible. dark hot gloomy look like it's about to fall apart. i wish who ever owned it would put some time and effort into the actual building.
