Food was good , ambiance was nice , comfortable noise level. You could have a nice conversation at a reasonable level at your table , service left a lot to be desired. Service was that of a Texas Roadhouse , long waits between drinks , and refills. Appetizers were on the high end and very small. Steaks were at a premium. A table of 4 we spent around $700. Food was good but I've had food equally as good for half that food was good but definitely wouldn't go again for the price. Better food elsewhere for the money.

The first thing I'd like to note is that the service is excellent. Our waiter, Greg, was very attentive and friendly toward us. Shared insights into the menu and was able to provide recommendations based on our interests. Later we were visited by the Manager. The level of care for the customer in the customer shines through. Our waters never went empty. Food was served promptly after we settled on our choices. slightly disappointed in the presentation of the lemon asparagus and they did not have as much lemon flavor to them as I would have hoped for. Garlic mash was an absolute smash. Cowboy ribeye was cooked to perfection but my petite filet was slightly over cooked. I dared not send it back because it was still delicious. The flavors were exquisite and we recommend the bone marrow butter for a savory experience overload! All other menu items were excellent. The ambiance with the candle and low lights made for a nice setting. We were seated next to a larger wedding party so it got a bit noisy (but rightfully so!) overall our first experience was wonderful and we will likely be back again.

My husband took me here for my birthday and I fell in loveeee. Very cute and quaint place with so many delicious options. The lamb chops were by far the best - like the best in the city for sure. They are my new champion. My asparagus were overcooked but the drinks made up for it. We had prompt service and everyone was just so friendly. Really love this restaurant.

Had heard such good things about this place I ordered the fried pickles as a appetizer there were only 5 small pickles they were served with nothing to dip them in my filet was good but the jalapeño Mac and cheese had no taste and was sitting in a dish of butter or oil ? We also felt rushed because our server took our drinks away before we were finished without asking and someone else kept coming by to ask if we were done eating when we clearly were not just a bad experience overall and really disappointing especially for the high price .

My favorite restaurant in Memphis. The food is wonderful and the service has always been top notch. While it is quite pricey they definitely give you what you pay for.

My husband and I were enjoying a 45th anniversary weekend and we both agree we had the best meal ever! Our waitress, Deborah, was amazing. She really helped us in our dinner choices. We like to split things so we can enjoy all courses. We chose from the chef's specials for our starter and entree. We had the starter of duck breast on crostini with fig jam and goat cheese followed by filet mignon medallions and crab cakes with a béarnaise sauce. With a side of spinach casserole. EVERY. BITE. WAS. AMAZING!! We like our steak cooked differently and the chef even accommodated that, cooking one to my liking and one to my husband's. We ended our meal with a folly freeze which was delicious! Even though we split everything, we were never rushed or charged a fee for splitting. Once again, truly one of the best meals we have ever had. You won't be disappointed! Can't wait to come back when we are in Memphis

The service and experience were beautiful. My husband and I had dinner last night for his birthday. From the greeting of the valet attendants to the hostess and managers at our entrance, everyone was welcoming and smiling. Our server Greg was very friendly, knowledgeable and courteous. He was a pleasure to meet. The food was amazing, large portions that were cooked to perfection. Oh ! My strawberry lemon drop was AMAZING! Thank you for your kindness and service. We will be back.

Folk’s Folly has an interesting backstory. This restaurant offers a swankified bar, private rooms, and both darker and light dining rooms. It is somewhat like a remodeled house. The food is delicious, but the crab legs were lukewarm. Get the truffle butter. The desserts were not fantastic, but will do the trick, if you want a sweet ending to your meal.
