Omg it matters not how great the food and atmosphere is, I don't even care about the the customer service all if this was overshadowed by Piper being unclean, she stopped some people walking by to hold and play with their cat, then went right back to cleaning off tables, asked customers if they wanted a to go Plat. As if anyone would want animal hair, skin, residue on their food. It was so disgusting it turned my stomach. She went right back ti work without washing her hands, this woman made my drink, I now wonder what random germs are sitting on the orange slice of of my Syrian sangria. Do better. Just NASTY.

I visited this place about a week ago and had a really bad experience. I ordered the peanut stew and was disappointed because of how it tastes. In my opinion, it had no flavor, it didn’t taste original at all and if it had peanut butter in it, it was an extremely low amount. I used to work there when the Somalian lady was there, but I don’t think she's there anymore, however, the stew wasn’t nearly as good as it was before. I sat down outside of the restaurant with the stew, had taken a taste and quickly realized that I didn’t like it. I returned to the restaurant in hopes of understanding but was ridiculed and disrespected by the owner for not liking the stew. He assured me that it wasn’t anything wrong with the stew and that its like it always have been. I listened to him very quietly and agreed that it may not have anything wrong with it but i was dissatisfied and would like my money back. He caused a big scene, was very loud and called security, but in the mist of it all, I eventually received my money back(The Goal?) and was told by the owner to never return. Is this how you treat dissatisfied customers? He needs to go to anger management and learn how to deal with people. He clearly was not having a good day and he may have some unhealed trauma. PLEASE SEEK HELP!!! A heads up, i was told by security that he is always like that. Smh, please beware of this man’s attitude and disability to understand your dissatisfaction of the food that they are selling.

Carnitas street tacos & carnitas arepa were both just okay; both were lacking in flavor. The beef empenadas stuffing was seasoned well and the green sauce was a perfect combo.Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap ramp at the front of the building and no ledge or step up to front entrance of restaurant.
Loved the food, the atmosphere, the people, the area! Delicious and satisfying! Definitely going back!
