The Barbecue eggrolls are delicious!! Plus it comes with a Barbecue sauce which takes it over the top! Always hot and fresh. Plus they have good customer service. Definitely would recommend trying it.

Aiden was our server. All of his recommendations were great and he was such a joy to talk to and have as our server. He definitely made our visit.

It took a little while to get our food but the food was very good. Ample portions for everyone. Even the leftovers were good.

Called to make a reservation today for my son birthday and Destiny answered the phone. Destiny stated they didn't do same day reservations. I asked if I could come still and just wait to be seated. Destiny replied, if you want to.We get there and the hostess greets us and says they only have one waitress working. She was the only waitress working since opening that morning.(please keep in mind there's nothing but two tables in the restaurant with people)We order our food but no silverware was given! Keep in mind we didn't get silverware until after about ten minutes of getting our food. Our waitress mentions she had to go wash the silverware and that's what took so long. Silverware was dirty!(We used the yellow pack of forks I had for cake)Sad Part! This place charged us $25 for bringing in an outside birthday cake. When they saw we had a cake , they could've told us about the fee. The waitress was like well I didn't know you had a cake. True because you were the only server and as people started coming in, you could barely remember our orders. The waitress kept coming back to ask if what we ordered was correct per her notes.I spoke with the manager and explained the cake fee situation. We would have gladly taken our cake to the house to avoid such a ludicrous fee. However, she the manager says the owner of this establishment said it was no way he was taking the charge off our bill.Well dear owner, we came last year for my son's birthday. You had the same issue with staff last year and we ignore your staffing situation, slow service, and extensive wait time with no one there.Tonight, you failed us in several ways. We won't Ever come back. I drove 40 minutes again to support you guys. Please people, don't support this place.

Oh my was that alot of food! Our server Aden was friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and overall awesome. We ordered the Cheese Bites for an Appetizer, Veggie Burgers with Macaroni and Cheese for our dinners, and a side of Fries. That appetizer is no joke. It was huge, delicious, and our favorite item of the night. We split it and were both full afterwards. Then came the Veggie Burgers and Sides. It was so much food! Their Burger topping assortment was great and allowed us to get creative. The fries were another huge portion. They were salty and nicely seasoned. He ordered a Beer and I ordered a huge Blue Cocktail. It was very enjoyable, but my Cocktail didn't seem to really have any alcohol and I'm a bit of a light weight. With that being said, it was a tasty and refreshing mug of Kool Aide.Vegetarian options: They have a lovely variety of toppings to customize the Veggie Burger with, along with some tasty sides and Appetizers.

I always come to Kooky Canuck when I visit home from college and am constantly telling people how much I love the fried pickles. Me and my family love the atmosphere, the food, and the service. Ashley always makes sure we’re taken care of and offers superb service! I can’t wait to come back next time I’m home!

We visited for the first time in December 2023 and had an enjoyable experience. They were running a promotion for customers to return the following month with an unopened envelope that contained a guaranteed reward (discounted or free food), so we returned in late January. Our second experience will be our last. This restaurant seems understaffed since there was a 30-minute wait with many empty tables, and whoever was managing the kitchen that night was careless about the quality of their food. Our server was friendly and attentive, but our meals arrived at room temperature and the grilled chicken was overcooked and dry. We also ordered the mini-avalanche for dessert, and instead of the mountain of ice cream we had seen in photos, we received a conspicuous single column of scoops flanked by two large mounds – we had a good laugh and hope the kitchen staff did too, but this would not have been appropriate to serve to minors. To top it all off, our server informed us that our unopened envelope could not be redeemed on this order, as it was meant to be opened that night and then used for a future date (which would seem to invalidate the offer, since we would be returning with an opened envelope...).After opening the envelope in front of the server, we were disappointed to see that the discount would expire at the end of January. Why would we return less than a week after eating there, especially after having a sub-par experience? The promotion felt like a bait-and-switch.We love supporting local businesses in Memphis, but this will no longer be one of them.

First time at this location and it wasn't bad but the waitress was terrible not sure if she was overwhelmed or what but i kept having to ask different waitress to bring out the simplest things such as a fork for my salad. She never brought straws out for the drink. i had to walk to the back and ask bartender, had to ask host for to go box. I walked in already knowing what i was ordering, so it's not like i was giving a hard time, but her service definitely made me not wanna come back so back to my downtown location. Also, she kept telling me i look familiar but was too young to know me was obviously obstructing her ability to do her job

I went to this location for the first time in several years. I got the poutine for my family as an appetizer, and it was quite a large portion. We really enjoyed it! That said, most of their entrées are $15+. I guess this is because of the portion size. I got an order of fish chips, my wife got the Santafe salad, and my son got the child's cheeseburger. My wife said the salad dressing didn't taste like anything, but my fish and chips were pretty good until I dsocivere that one of the very large fish filets was undercooked. You could see the batter oozing out, and the fish was dark grey. My son enjoyed his burger.

2021, I came to this place by recommendation of my family so I can spend my 13th birthday there. Apparently the food was good so we went. We ordered our food, and we waited. We didn’t expect much since we had just ordered. Nobody else was there, it was just my family and I. We would wait there for at least 2 hours before one singular steak would get brought out, but it was raw. The entire place smelt of weed and everyone that was there was convinced the employees were smoking weed and drinking beer in the back. We sat there for 3 hours with practically no food except for the birthday cake that was brought. I never ate any food, and I spent 3 hours hungry on my 13th birthday at a Canadian resturaunt that looks like it’s trying to be a bass pro shop.Don’t eat here, there are other options.

This my first time in over four years going back to Kooky Canuck. On February 22nd, 2024 me and a couple friends decided to go back here and try it out. I noticed how different the restaurant is from last time. Our waitress immediately seated us when we arrived. I decided to do the build my own burger with bacon, blue cheese, lettuce, onion and fried egg. Of course with fries. The chef at first forgot my fried egg on the burger, but once I got the fried eggs the burger was amazing. I love my creation work so well haha. The fries was pretty good maybe needed a little more seasoning. I recommend everyone try this place out!!

I'm going to chalk this up to they were having an off night. Tried to order a 34oz Molson on tap, out of Molson, tried to order some BBQ egg rolls, out, tried to order a Monte Cristo, no ham or turkey. Settled for the Maple Bacon Burger, Medium. French toast bun wasn't made French toast style, it was just burnt toast, and the burger was well done. Server also cost themselves about $3 in tips by adding their own 18% tip for a party of two. Perogies were excellent. This was at the Cordova location, not Downtown. 1st bad experience I've had at either location. Again, just going to chalk it up to everyone having an off night.
