Libro is a must try! Truly a hidden gem in Memphis. The food and drinks here are amazing but what really brings it all together is their bartender, Taylor, he is a master of his craft! Warlock? !!!

Excellent service. Delicious food. A lot of seafood options, and they are well prepared. I like that they do half portioned pasta at lunch. Oh and great cocktails. Great spot.

Love the concept, but food and service fell short on our first adventure to Libro’s. A group went for brunch. The chicken and waffles I had offered up two Costco waffles. I know. I’ve bought them before. How hard is it to make a fresh waffle? Chicken was bland. Service was terrible, with our coffee cups never refilled. Server never came back to table after taking our order until we finally got his attention to bring our bill. We will go somewhere else for brunch next time!

This one is for the book, cocktail, and food lovers! Libro/Novel has easily become one of my favorite places to go! I've been for brunch, lunch, dinner, and happy hour! Basically, whatever they have to offer, I've tried it...twice! They have local good for purchase and it's a bookstore and restaurant, what more can you ask for. The service is always top tier, and the food is filling and flavorful. I can really just sit in there for hours listening to a little jazz, finding a friend at the bar and just admiring the atmosphere. I love to write so this place is a dream come true for me. If you haven't been I highly suggest trying them out. I've even included their happy hour for anyone interested. Happy Hour is every Tues - Sat from 3pm to 6 pm!HH Specials:$5 well spirits$4 off house cocktails$8 house Martinis(gin or Vodka)$5/$14 house wines$3 bud lightDrinks/Food captured: SECRET LIFE OF BEESBarr Hill Gin, Lemon, Lavender Honey SyrupFrench 75HUCK FINN Tanqueray Gin, Lemon, Agave, Fresh Blackberries & BasilVEGETABLE STIR FRYBok choy, baby corn, brocollini, mushroom, snap peas, bell peppers, carrots, onion, garlic & gingerSHRIMP MAQUE CHOUXShrimp, corn, poblano peppers in a rich cream sauce with cajun seasoning over basmati rice

My book group met here. I paid $26+ for a “cold lobster salad”. What I got was some lettuce with lots of little chunks of meat that looked like crayfish cut into little sections - or maybe tiny shrimp that tasted like crayfish and was very chewy. My friend ate half of hers & refused a to go box. I ate half & took the rest home. My foodie husband took one bite & would eat no more. Yuck! I should have asked for a refund.

Bookstore, small bar and excellent restaurant all in one. What is not to love! Good was delicious and staff super friendly.

If you want to read a good book and eat well, Libro is the place to be. I enjoyed my steak salad when I tell you I ate that salad so fast. You would've thought I've never eaten before. It was flavorful, colorful, and fresh. I ordered my steak medium well as always. I did enjoy my Cajun fries but I wasn't too focused on it because the salad was just that good. The service was excellent, the waiter constantly checked in on my guest and I as we caught up on our lives over a wonder meal. If you are not a big drinker like me, you should try the fruit tea. It does come in a cocktail glass and it was garnished with a fresh mint.

I love having lunch in a bookstore. Two of my favorite things, food and books, combined! Win-Win! The catfish was excellent, and so was the service.

I really enjoyed Sunday brunch here ! I dined with a girlfriend and we had a couple of breakfast cocktails (off menu ) champagne and Bellini. I ordered all Al carte items and made a delicious meal out of them . The eggs were fluffy and seasoned with a dash of salt and pepper and the bacon was crispy . My friend ordered the seafood omelette that looked amazing! The service was quick and our server was friendly, polite, and professional. One of the best things about this place is the restaurant is embedded in a bookstore ! The nostalgia of paper books brought a layer of unique ambiance. I will be back !

The food is fantastic. I had the house made hummus with pita and the pesto Genovese. The pita bread has got to be my now favorite food. It was toasted, crispy, and soft. I missed the hummus with the pesto you have to. The service was awesome. I sat at the bar and the bartender was attentive. He knew all the regulars. The value was surprising I had left overs. The meal i got was enough for 2 people easily great value for the price.

Too many flies at the bar area. The drinks and food was good though.
