We had a lovely experience at Manuel's. When mom and I go out together we typically try to find a good Mexican restaurant. I read lots of reviews and the only thing I was hesitant about was that I couldn't get a margarita with my meal. However, they do have bottled beer for purchase so that was a plus. And most importantly- the food was fabulous. You do have to order at the counter but they will bring it to you. I'll definitely be back!

The staff were friendly ! Since moving from New Mexico a few months ago it's been hard finding good Mexican food. So this place gave me a sense of home. The food was delicious and was brought to my table within 10min! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Definitely can't wait to visit again!

Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon for a quick lunch. Went with the fresh guacamole and spicy fish tacos. Friend ordered the shrimp nachos. Portion sizes were great. Everything was super fresh, flavorful and delicious! Def will stop in again on my next trip to Memphis.

From the entrance, a guest may believe there are very little seating options. We found out additional seating upstairs. That was a major plus. The fajita tacos were beautifully presented; chicken being our favorite. Everything was fresh and full of flavor. I would suggest providing MORE chips with their queso. ??Little to no wait when placing our orders and receiving our food.

Place is absolutely great. If you walk in and it's crowded, fear not, there are plenty of tables on the second floor. The torta is spot on... and huge. Tacos are great, but you should really branch out and try a torta. :)
Forgot to take photos! Chips and salsa was great, salsa tasted like they make it themselves. We ordered carne tacos. They are huge! Husband also ordered a torta. Overall would eat again. Carne could've been cut smaller and seasoned more, were the only things we found could be improved. But it's more authentic than most places!

Excellent, fresh, delicious. Wieso is the best I’ve had anywhere, perfectly flavored and texture was creamy but not thick. Fried avocado taco was so unique and delicious, shrimp taco great, tilapia was so tender and well cooked, slow cooked beef was cooked to perfection. Very friendly and helpful staff. Recommended me a great alternative when they were out of something. I would recommend the ahogana and birria specialty tacos. Love the upstairs dining area and the availability of novelty Mexican sodas. I really liked the apple soda but it wasn't there on my last visit.
