So I normally do not do reviews at all, but this one, I had to do. For a little background I have always loved Mosa in the past. I would eat there at least twice a month (~a year ago). Today I decided to get take out for the first time in a while. I ordered 3 Chicken Fried Rice, a Beef Fried Rice and the Chicken Szechuan (Medium heat). Was excited to get home and enjoy, but I knew something was off when I opened my Szechuan.Firstly the Szechuan was only half full. I was disappointed but what the heck, I can look over that. Then my family opened their fried rice containers and they all looked very different than what I was accustomed to in the past. The color was very bland and the rice looked overcooked. After giving it a try, I will tell you that this was 100% the worst fried rice that I have every had in my entire 47 years on this planet. It was nothing like it used to be. It was bland. And when I say bland, I mean BLAND. No seasoning at all except way too much pepper! It had no soy sauce and it was like it was missing an ingredient or two. My entire family hated it and did not eat it. If it were not for the distance I had to drive to get the food, I would have driven back to return it, but I chose to toss it. The Szechuan was horrible as well. I asked for medium and I have had it enough in the past to know what medium is. But this was so spicy I could not eat it without breaking out in a sweat. Also the chicken was disgusting.I don't know what happened to this place, but it is NOT what it used to be. I have never had Chinese this bad in my life. I would not give this to my dog. Horrible. Very disappointed........

My wife and I were in town and chose Mosa for or dinner. Big mistake. The Pho was just passable and my wife's plate was cold and flavorless. We ordered Basil rolls and they were horrible, tasteless and cold. The peanut sauce was very watery. I would not suggest eating here.

This is a family favorite. According to our sons: “Food- amazing. Fried Chicken- get it every time. Please put a Mosa in Birmingham!” We recommend Szechuan Beef and Rainbow Curry among lots of other things.

Their website mentions "fast-casual," but I didn't know what that meant in terms of Asian food. So I decided to try them out based on the positive reviews. This place is kinda like Panera (perhaps the most well known fast-casual place) in the sense that... the food is not going to be authentic, but it'll probably taste good. I noticed they were pretty popular, with a steady stream of customers while I was there. The service was acceptable if you're used to big city attitudes like I am. They weren't rude in any way, and neither were they hospitable. I expressed that it was my first time in the establishment and received no prompting or guidance. I ordered the pho, which is simply listed as "pho," not beef pho, although it comes with beef. I'd specifically come to try it because I was curious... was it really so cheap, and why?If you go to other places that sell pho, it's going to be around $18-20. At Mosa, it's $14. Turns out it is exactly like Panera in that the food is an interpretation of the dish and not truly what it is named for.So the first odd thing to me was that I was asked if I wanted rice or flour noodles. Flour noodles are not an option in any Vietnamese themed restaurant I've ever seen. When my bowl arrived I noticed right away that the broth is the wrong color. It looked like chicken pho, rather than beef, and it tasted similarly mildly. The bean sprouts, Thai basil and cilantro are already included in the dish, instead of coming on the side for you to curate to taste. Condiments on my plate were a sambal-derived hot sauce (like a less smoky sriracha), a milder than usual oyster sauce (maybe it was oyster mixed with hoisin), and a bit of lime.Usually pho is listed as coming with rice vermicelli, although the noodles will be closer to angel hair in size. Here, the rice noodles were... more like what you would get in lo mein maybe. Like linguine/trenette; wide, flat pasta. The onions were cut very oddly, as if not by a chef at all as they were oversized and uneven bits. The beef came already cooked and in unusual cuts as well. More like what you'd get in a "beef with broccoli," than thin sliced flank. The portion is a little closer to a kid size pho than a regular one. Which was fine, given the price. I ate almost all of it, but I probably wouldn't order it again. My table was clean and free of wobble. I don't know if they keep chopsticks in house at all. The atmosphere is somewhat cosy with real candles on the tables. I could see going here if you want to feel a little fancy or maybe doing a low key date night.

We went for the dinner and it was late in night, almost close to their closing time. The place was not much packed obviously. The server was sweet. He hurried up as the kitchen was closing but never rushed us. We started with some pan fried dumplings. They were hot, steamy, and good. My husband got some tofu with veggies and I got myself kung pao chicken. Both the dishes were served with steamed rice. The portion size was decent for a single person and the food was hot and fresh. I would return surely.

I ordered Mr.eddies noodle dish , sesame chicken , and shrimp fried rice . I’m disappointed to say the least .The rice had baby shrimp with visible feces in it, and it turned my appetite completely off the sesame chicken had no sauce whatsoever and they just taste like chicken nuggets. They were OK though crispy I’ll give them that the rice had no flavor at all. the noodle dish was very good. I ordered chicken and I’m so glad I didn’t order shrimps because I would have not eat it if I saw poop visible and I had the potstickers and they were good but would I come here again hell no. Hope this helps someone looking for honesty. 60 dollars on something I didn’t even eat .

Food was great, very tasty. The atmosphere however, makes you feel immensely unwelcome. We sat down to eat and our food came out piecemeal. One plate at a time. So we couldn't eat together. There was NOBODY in the place either with a full staff. We ordered an appetizer, two entrees, and a kids teriyaki meal for our 8 month old daughter. She's teething and trying new veggies so she really liked trying the green beans and the chicken. We kept getting looks from the staff, they came over 5 times in the 35 minutes we sat to eat. Taking plates before we were even finished eating on them. We felt unwelcome, rushed out.One staff member gave me a grimace like we had done something wrong by ordering a kids meal for our KID.It's a shame because the food was very tasty, we would have come back. Now we won't be.

One of my favorite places to eat! The owners are amazing and see them regularly there in the restaurant and talking to customers. Feel good place. I highly recommend it. Lunch or dinner. Chill date, family spot or go grab a bite solo.Kid-friendliness: Kid meals offered.

It's not often that a restaurant checks all the boxes, but Mosa definitely does just that. The atmosphere, the food and the service go miles beyond industry standard at a price that puts others to shame. My family and I decided to make this our final meal before departing Memphis. Though reservations are available, one wasn't needed. However, I would still call ahead to make sure there is seating avaliable before walking in. We ordered the crab cheese wonton for our appetizer. What can I say but that other crab chese wontons I've had have never come close. Perfectly crispy shell and flavorful filling with an amazing sweet and sour sauce to accompany it. I ordered pho for my main course and sweet and sour chicken for my significant other. Both were presented beautifully, piping hot and perfectly cooked. The pho had such a vivid flavor and the portion was enormous. It has easily stolen the spot as my favorite meal I've ever eaten. The other main of sweet and sour chicken was mouth-watering as well. Well trimmed, crispy chicken drizzled with a flavorful and well-made sauce. The side of white rice was presented well and was perfectly cooked. All of that leads to a perfect meal, but the staff pushed that bar even higher. Everyone was so attentive and cheerful that we felt like royalty. I cannot stress this enough, if you are deciding where to eat, stop reading and start driving to Mosa immediately.Kid-friendliness: They were very accommodating and offered a high chair.

I wanted to try this place so ordered takeout. I had the Basil Rolls, Crab Cheese Wontons, Potstickers, and the Rainbow Panang Curry. I wasn't a fan of the Basil Rolls but they were alright. Everything else was really yummy. Would definitely recommend.

Walking into Mosa I didn't know what I expected but OH.MY.GOD. The food was so d*mn goodd!!! From the Hot and Sour wontons which were so good, spicy with some sweetness...10/10 to the 3 seasoned shrimp...??? The Pad Thai was just how I love it...spicy and extra peanuts! The option of mild, medium or hot on everything made the experience that much better! Will be back to enjoy again!
