A truly Memphis experience. Great hibachi, sushi, and cocktails. Make reservations, and hope that your chef is “magic” Mike who, along with the place itself, has been around for decades. Some staff can be unfriendly, but if you persevere and keep an open mind, you’re in for a good time.
I went for the first time in it’s my family last night. Both the service and food were AWESOME.We arrived when the restaurant first opened at 5pm on a weekday, and got a hibachi table immediately with some of the other guests. The staff were very nice, and the food tasted good. Our chef just absolutely *made* the experience. I grew up in Memphis, TN, and I can’t believe that I’m only learning about this place now. Our favorite place to eat.... Moved over 2 hours away from Memphis but when we are in town close to 5 PM we make it a point to eat here. This has always been our 'go to' place for special occasions.
