I love newk’s eatery. They offer a lot of options to choose from. I love their half and half pairing. Salads are usually good here. Large salads are really large. I usually can’t finish. I used to love their baked Mac n cheese. However, they are not that good in recent times. This one is just another newk’s in the Memphis area. Dinner time was moderately busy. Although I asked for Mac n cheese with bacon, they gave me the plain one! The salad was fresh, filling, and refreshing.

I liked the place, the salads for the price seem excellent to me because they bring quite a quantity although I would like it with a little more protein and the soups had a good flavor. It still seems like a suitable place to visit and eat healthy for a reasonable price. I recommend the soup. tomato.

The food is usually very good, prepared correctly, and served in a timely manner. It is typically one of my favorite spots for something to take with me for lunch.I was very disappointed today, an hour and a half before closing. There wasn't any sweet tea available out front or in the back. I asked for some, and the staff refused to make any. Meanwhile, two of them were standing behind the counter on their phones.

The food was excellent, I got the French Dip sandwich and the pimento and bacon Mac & cheese, my girlfriend got the Newk's Q, and my kid got the 5 cheese Mac and cheese. The staff were friendly and helpful with our couple of questions. There's high chairs and kids cups if you need them. The inside reminds me of a mix between Pamera and Boston Market. They also sell the soup in large containers to take home to have for a couple meals.

Service was poor . The cashier just stood in front of the register with out speaking. No "hello". No "can I take your order? Nothing. She should not be costumer facing. The salad had too much dressing on it...they didn't put it on the side. I did not enjoy it. The mac and cheese was not fully melted. My daughter sad it was ok. We will not go back. There were at least 5 team members just sitting down on a break. It wasn't busy. It was kinda sad. That place was wonderful in years past.
