They need to shut orange Mound Grill down. They done ran a good bid and accomplished a lot with good food. The tasteless food to the compromised mindsets that the workers have a long with serving under cooked food is an understatement. Orange Mound Grill is tasteless in all aspects Now 2023...Nevermind you! It hasn't always been this way! I have been eating here on and off for almost 40 years a lnd it's a shame that Time took away the Love that made her food taste so good especially the chitterlings smh.....There is no Love put into the food that's served at Orangemound grill today 5/18/23 4:31pm that time has passed never to return again. My folk is normally good but I’m so up set my chitterlings so plan no oil straight water I’m thankful the shxt balls gone but zamn the food getting to high no taste I hate the workers had to take a break for Easter ‘23 it was so rushedI been planning when I come back home to stop by I’m so mad I’m disappointed.. never again on a holiday

For me this is soul food at its finest. The very good food for your soul that I actually grew up on. I travel a lot and when you can return to great restaurant and find that the food only has gotten better you know you can label it your favorite food spot. Soul food is apsoloutly everything. 23$ for a plate and they going to tell me that I have to get 2sides but I don't want sides and they DO NOT even have the sides thats on the menu for the day. Yet I still have to get sides just to get chitterlings. All in all Keep EVERYTHING I WILL NOT RETURNParking: No thanks

Went in today and ordered two plate .. chitterling plate with spaghetti and string beans .. also a pork chop and gravy plate with yams and mac n cheese .. The building was really clean smell of bleach in the air .. It took about 15 minutes for food .. We noticed we didn’t smell anything cooking and asked where the food was prepared .. Staff stated it was prepared there .. No taste to any food .. the best thing was the yams .. no seasoning on anything .. string beans taste out of the can .. This is not the grille I used to know ..

The chitlins needs to be cooked longer and seasoned! I paid $22.00 for chitlins only and I received them in a To go plate with the sides portion empty.. For $22 at least 1 side portion should've had more chitlins. MS. DAISY WOULD NEVER! My previous visit was about 6 yrs ago and I don't think I'm going to return.
