When we got to shogun we were excited to experience hibachi in Tennessee as we are visiting the state but it was nothing like a normal hibachi experience their was no show or care to do anything fun for the kids that were with us and the food was covered in extra teriyaki sauce when it normally doesn't come like that. We ordered a vodka soda and the waiter came back with a vodka sprite and said they didn't have soda so he chose to give us that instead, we also ordered milk for my niece and instead of telling us they didn't have that he just didn't bring it out . When we asked for it he said they didn't carry milk and that was it lol. We ordered a Long Island ice tea and they came out with tea with no ice so we had them remake it like it should be made.. we were missing parts of our orders and it just felt very unorganized and chaotic. It felt very rushed when we were one of two tables with people at them . We will never come back

Worst service I’ve ever had tonight !! Waited 2 hours damn near and the “new male guy waitress”he took everyone’s order but when the cook come out mine wasnt even put in only my sons food , me and my sister ordered liquor drinks and never received them ,come to find out he never put the drink orders in at all and comes back to the table telling me I didn’t put a drink order in when I showed my id for it ! He also placed items on the ticket that was never ordered . I gave him my card to pay for only my son’s fried rice and never received my card back . I go to the front asking for my card back and he says “you never gave me a card “ this was my favorite restaurant but I won’t be returning if this is the new service that you all offer !

This is the absolute nastiest restaurant I have ever been. The customer service is awful. We literally had bugs crawling in our salads. I will try to upload the video. The hibachi grill had old food stuck in the corner. We requested the grill to be cleaned and was told the cook would do it, we never got to that point, we left...ran out of the restaurant.

Only place open,due to inclement weather charged 18% gratuity automatically because only place open. Owner was rude ,ask me to wait four times before he took my order. Tall White guy was pretty nice. Cook was rude as well. Horrible experience food was ok, noodles overcooked,burnt vegetables and chicken was dry. All for 30$ spring rolls were cold.
The food is amazing and fills you up easily. The cook was very energetic, lively, and entertaining. The decor is basic but it goes with the whole theme. Overall, I recommend it

They cook their vegetarian food together with their meats. So you get chunks of chicken in your vegetarian meal. It's absolutely disgusting. And I don't mean on the hibachi table where everything is mixed together. My wife and I ordered two vegetarian dishes and both had chicken in them.Vegetarian options: They had meat in their vegetarian dishes.
