Slices (formerly Little Italy) has taken a turn for the worse. I have ordered from them twice. First time was mediocre compared to before and I figured it was a bad day let me try them again. Same experience. The flavor and the dough of the pizza does not feel like it used to. They are trying to be more crackery with the crust than a traditional new york pie like Little Italy was doing. There was barely any sauce on my cheese pie and the two times I have gotten the vodka pie the vodka sauce has just been cold and its just drizzled on top without full coverage. The elimination of the Sicilian pie is also so sad. That was one of my favorite parts of Little Italy and what made it unique to many of the other places.I know Slices is still trying to improve but I hope they take in the comments from previous customers and work on making the pizza better.

Bought one of the boxes with meatballs, fried mozzarella, garlic knots, pepperoni cheesy bread, etc. also got some cannolis. For the price, it was a fabulous deal for our group. Everything was very tasty, served hot and cashier was nice and friendly. We will definitely order from this place again.

This is my neighborhood pizza by the slice place and the it’s amazing. Price and product are both great. The high top stools at the windows looking out at Union Ave or the sit down tables.

The food was so bland and tasteless. I set my expectations so high for the price and pictures online and was sadly disappointed. The garlic knots weren’t garlicky at all. The zucchini was just battered zucchini, no flavor.

Rather tasteless, lacked sauce noodles were bland no bread with the order. Pretty disappointing for $20+ dollars. Got it to goObviously these people don't understand how to make Italian food. I read these reviews and there are a lot of not-so-good reviews . My suggestion is to find someone that can correct the recipe flaws

Great Place To Eat & Great Customer Service & Convenient To Where I Live I Would Highly Recommend

Ok, so in my mind, this is a short story of "the comeback." I was one of Little Italy's Midtown customers that was upset and annoyed when Slice took over, claimed they were using the same recipes, but their pizza just didn't measure up.Tonight, I thought about giving them another (third) chance. But I was solo tonight, so I couldn't order the usual X-large pizza. Started scrolling through the online delivery menu. And then I saw it. An Italian beef sandwich. I'll admit it; I was skeptical. Slice was a pizza joint not a Chicago sandwich shop, and was a joint that had let me down twice before. But I decided to risk it. I guess I'm a believer in third chances. My expectations were tempered.Oh, man, was I shocked. Wonderfully shocked. This sandwich was absolutely first-rate. Well-seasoned and moist thin slices of roast beef, and a VERY generous portion, mild giardinaire for veg, and provolone (Chicagoans, yes I always get cheese on my Italian beef...shaddup ?). The bread wasn't the traditional roll, but it was just the right texture...soft enough to eat easily, yet firm enough to stand up to dipping in the au jus. Because of delivery, the au jus is served on the side, but I'm sure you could order it "wet" in-store if you want. The au jus itself was rich and savory without being too salty, just the way I like it. Most importantly, the sandwich was properly constructed, with the provolone on the bottom to help structural integrity and ease for dunking. This, this was an outstanding sandwich in every respect. The hand-breaded zucchini I also ordered was excellent and retained most of its crispiness. But I'd recommend that Slice punch just one or two small holes in the plastic lid on the container. This will allow steam to escape while not losing that much warmth. But that sandwich. Oh, man. When my wife gets home from her overseas business trip, we will definitely be giving your pizza another chance. If I can talk myself out of ordering that sandwich again.Thank you, Slice!

We went on Friday evening to try something new. Take out. Glad we did. Great people. Old style building. Also has tables to dine in. The restaurant itself looks bland but pizza is FRESH. A lot of shoppers from Uber eats and grub hub go there. We ordered pizza slices, the guy taking orders was super friendly giving us updates. Although our pizza was re heated he waiting till cheese was hot and melty. Delicious. The one taking payments on the right side was warm and welcoming. We will return.

I wrote a review on our last pizza order detailing it, but then deleted it. After reading several detailed reviews of how the pizza isn’t the same, I read the owners responses. To me, that says more than anything. They’re trying to make it better. They insist the recipe is the same. Our order wasn’t what little Italy used to be. We ordered several pizzas for the office, and everyone agreed that it was different.

Pizza is nasty, undercooked, and toppings are sparse. Not worth the money at all.
