We were looking online for a good breakfast place and found a great place! The cheese grits…out of this world and the sandwiches the same. Enjoyed coffee as well which can be a deal breaker. We enjoyed it so much, we ate here both days while in Memphis. The employees seem like a family. Looks like they truly enjoy their jobs. Well done!!

I was debating on whether or not to post this, but I think it would be helpful to those wanting to try out Sunrise. The food itself was not bad. My yogi bowls strawberries were not good (some were browning and mushy), but the blueberries and granola was excellent. My parents enjoyed their food thoroughly as well. The problem arises when I was leaving. I got to my car and noticed a huge dent. It was from a door that was no properly closed and kept swinging (as it was a very windy day) and hitting my car. I went inside to inform the manager as there was a sign on the door that said to keep it closed at all times. The manager was extremely rude and condescending. Kept saying it "obviously" was not a parking spot and there was "obviously" a dumpster there. I have attached photos of where I was parked. As you can see, not only was there another person parked there (which she even said was an employee!) but there were no signs and the dumpster was not noticeable at all. I did not expect them to pay for the full damages, nor did I mention anything about money. I just wanted an apology or some recognition that there was an issue with their parking lot. Instead I was passive aggressively told that it was not even a parking spot and the woman implied I was stupid for even parking there. Words like "obviously" and "most people would know" were used a lot. I do understand needing to protect one's business, but the manner in which this experience happened was not impressive and left me disappointed.

I’ll tell you what… the pimento cheese biscuit with tomato and jam (I added an egg), loaded grits and cinnamon roll were on POINT! Some of the best pimento cheese I’ve ever had. They are affordable and despite being busy on a Sunday for brunch they had the food out quickly. Thank you so much yall!

Love everything about this restaurant except the snarky manager Sara Nouse. It's a shame, we go often and just pray we don't cross swords with her.

I was invited for brunch. I ordered the Chorizo bowl, and we split the mimosa flight. The food was pretty good, the service was quick, and the staff was nice. This was my first time here, I do recommend giving them a try!

Hands down, one of the best breakfast I’ve ever had at a restaurant. I got the Kitchen Sink, and everything was perfection. I also got a side of biscuits and sausage gravy, and they were to die for. Everybody working there was extremely kind. The line was out of the door and around the corner, and we got through the line in about 20 minutes. Amazing experience!

The hostess (older lady) was extremely rude. Did not even get to try the food she was so discourteous we left.

What a neat, quirky find. In the middle of a Memphis Historic District, this little restaurant packs a punch… in a good way. The food is amazing (you have to try a biscuit, they are delicious) The ordering process at the counter is down to a science and the friendly staff are fun.Vegetarian options: There is a whole separate menu for vegetarian options

Definitely the best breakfast spot downtown. Fast, even when there’s a line out the door. They got it down here! The pancakes I got were delicious! My boyfriend got a chicken biscuit with honey, tried a bite and that was amazing also! Mimosas for $5. No photos, as we were pretty hungry and the food got ate before I could even remember to get a pic lol!
