Sat right away on Thursday at 7:45p. My server, Cathy, was great! She was so sweet and was very attentive. She was rather quick as well.Unfortunately, the great stopped there. Asked for water with lite ice, and it came with full ice.Asked for a dirty extra dry Tito’s martini. They didn’t have Tito’s, which is fine, but the vodka they chose was meh. There was only one olive. And it just tasted kinda gross.Miso soup was alright. Kind of lukewarm and not much taste, but passable. The house salad that came with my meal was just romaine and a bit of purple cabbage. The dressing was very good, not sure what it was, but waaaay too much.My Kami Naruto appetizer was pretty good.I got the Sushi Deluxe mean and it was just ok. But I needed the soy sauce to make it that way. And I think sushi should be great without it and soy is just to elevate it.I thought the sashimi was pretty good at first but as I finished it up, it tasted kind of old and dare I say, dirty?Overall I was unimpressed, which is sad cause it is a cool place and it had 4.5 stars on Google, so I thought it would be great! Won’t be returni

First time trying this restaurant and the food was absolutely delicious. The only con was my appetizer did not come out until I was ready to check out but the waitress made up for it. I will definitely be returning.

The food is normally good and the fish is very fresh tasting. That is the good. Unfortunately, the manager doesn't understand customer service at all. My gf and I received an extra roll that we were charged for that wasn't noticed until we got home with our call in order. We tipped at least 20 percent on the order total. When we called to get the extra roll taken off our bill, the manager asked us if we had already eaten the roll. "No, we haven't eaten anything yet." She said they could provide a refund when we brought the extra order back to the restaurant, as if this is something that a restaurant who made a mistake, would actually do. After we explained that we weren't going to come back up there , she said we could take a picture to prove we hadn't eaten the extra order...whaaaaat? Eventually, a refund was issued after like 20 mins on the phone, while we were itching to have our dinner. Fast forward to today. Decided to give them another shot because like i said, the food is good. My gf couldn't call or order from her phone because they blocked it! She was able to call from her work phone. Absolutely ridiculous to blame the customer for your mistake and this wasn't the first or second time they got an order wrong. Yummy food but buyer beware.
Don't like the fact that the dude did 15% gratuity. I said, "What's this about?" He said people don't tip. I'm like, dude, I'm a regular here. I always tip. Then brought my food out with 2 shrimp. Going I'm allergic to shellfish.Won't happen again,I promise youDietary restrictions: No shellfish

We eat at Takashi at least once a week. The service is great and the food is too. We get take out mostly and if you get take or be sure to check your food and ask them to put cardboard under bags with any food with lots of liquid as their styrofoam containers are prone to leaking.
