Road tripped to Memphis with my 15 year old and couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to Memphis! Harper was a great tour guide. Super friendly and knowledgeable not only about all things food in Memphis but learned so much of the history. Also, was neat all the different things he pointed out we would of had no idea about just walking along. The walking was just right, no complaints from the teen. Food was amazing everywhere we went, and we checked out 3 places he recommended outside of the tour over the next couple days(all great service and food!). I would recommend def to anyone new to Memphis, I would love to go on one of their other tours if I go back! Thanks Harper for helping us make sweet memories, it was Caleb’s favorite part of the trip!

Wow. Wow! What an amazing tour. Taylor was an incredible guide. She was knowledgeable, likable, fun and a whole bunch more adjectives of greatness. Each and every stop on the tour was un-flippin-believable. The amount of food was substantial, she means it when it states come hungry. Of course there was bbq, but a deep fried burger? (Being made in the picture) Holey smoley it was tasty! If you are in Memphis, a tour is a no brainer. And a great value!

I do a food tour in every city I visit, so I have done a lot of food tours. This one, the Tastin Round Town BBQ tour with Harper, was hands down the best I have done. Harper was very knowledgeable about Memphis as well as about bbq. He took us around town and shared with us a lot of history about the places we passed. The restaurants we visited had delicious and plentiful tastings. I don't know if this was typical, but Harper was with us from 2-7 on our tour. Book it! You won't regret it.

My husband and I did the BBQ food tour in July. We had an amazing time, learned so much about the BBQ process from our guide Harper and above all we ate SO MUCH delicious Memphis BBQ. You will not leave the your hungry. Harper also gave us some great insights into the history of Memphis, tips on music acts to catch on Beale Street, kept us dry when a downpour suddenly came upon us and introduced us to the goats of Beale Street. I absolutely recommend this tour if you are visiting Memphis and want excellent food, great company and an all around fun time.

I was very pleased with my tour of Memphis BBQ locations. First, I traveled solo to the city and half expected my tour to be canceled if I was the only person who booked for that day (it was a Tuesday in Feb). They didn't cancel and I got a personal tour! Harper was amazing. He seamlessly wove tales of BBQ, City history, and other tidbits into this experience. He predicted that I'd need a doggy bag and he was right! Each stop was delicious and the portion to sample was just right or just over! I was so full!I would definitely take the tour again if I was back in Memphis with friends. The value delivered! Harper also gave me some other recommendations for my trip and I was happy to meet his daughter (he works for her!) as she was on another tour with only two people (again, shocked they didn't consolidate us into one group). I truly felt like I knew downtown Memphis and Beale St after this walking tour. Highly recommend!

You got to try this, its much more than just a food tour.We always enjoy food tours so we booked with Tastin' Round Town. Absolutely loved the experience. Harper was our guide for the day. We have been on several food tours and this one had more food than any other tour we have been on. This was a walking tour through Main and Beale streets in downtown Memphis. We enjoyed hearing all the history of each building and restaurant as we walked by. Harper made this food tour so interesting that we will definitely go back to downtown Memphis soon. Book the tour.
